Interpreter please:

“To manage the impact of climate change, becoming more extreme, more extreme weather and growing migration flows. In addition, you see what’s happening in the Arctic. Arctic’s gonna change drastically and become a place that is gonna also potentially generate potential conflict in terms of dominating in the Arctic as it melts.”

Ice road truckers have been working more because the frozen lakes stay frozen longer. I just saw this on a video update of the drivers from ice road truckers.

Yup climate has always changed.

Those poor folks buying electric cars causing more co2 than gas cars probably.

Huge amounts of frozen methane gas is trapped in the permafrost,it’s being released as the temps rise and the permafrost melts. It’s not just Co2 that’s the problem, the term is greenhouse gases not gas.

They are considering calling polar bears marine mammals because they are spending more time in the water than on land or ice. Up in Churchill the bears are being land locked for up to 6 months, used to be a 3 month stay until the sea ice could support them. They are staving during this time as they can’t feed except for from human garbage. They are considered the most southerly population of polar bears, will be a real shame when they are gone.

I'll start with greenhouse gases.  The three biggies are CO2, Water vapor - H2O, and Methane - HC4.  It's true, in a sealed environment the quantities of these gases will remain constant.  In a free atmosphere, one that contains Ozone, a single Oxygen atom, a free radical, if you will, then the Methane and the Ozone react and break down to water vapor and carbon dioxide.  People talk about how rain forests process carbon dioxide, but they never mention that rain forests produce large amounts of methane, which is release when animal or vegetable matter rots.

As for the polar bears, their Latin name is Ursus Maritimus, the sea bear.  It's the largest extant bear species and the largest extant land carnivore.  I'm not too worried about the polar bears.  They just make a 'oh how sad' picture when the iceberg they've been floating begins to break up.

As the late Douglas Adams (Author, Satirist and Humorist) wrote:

“The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.
To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to."

or, those most capable of leading have little interest in seeking the position!

He’s not wrong just mistaken…..it is a sea bear and methane does break down but neither of those things means squat.

You know like why do I need a snowblower when I only use it 3 or 4 times a year.,25 years ago I had to use it almost  every day during winter! Now I’ll wait for a mechanical engineer to explain why I still need to keep my snowblower….

Yeah.  The earth is ~68% water.  The human body is ~68% water.  If the earth's population doubles, where does the water come from?

Another interesting tidbit is that the ouput of all the rivers in the world, on a yearly basis, is almost that of the amount of water contained in the polar ice caps.  So why don't the seas rise 20 feet every year?

Trust me Arlo, it has not started yet! The rapture comes first, then the tribulation will come. However the timeline between the rapture and the start of the tribulation is unknown, it maybe 1 day or 50 years, the scriptures don't tell us. My grandparents and my parents hoped to see the rapture, thinking the human race couldn't get any more wicked. Well they were wrong on that account, I'm not sure I'll live to see the rapture either. Any time I think the human race can't get anymore corrupt/wicked, it proves me wrong.

One thing for sure though, Israel is back in it's home land, as was prophesied by scripture. A per-requiste for the Lords return. Every day is another day closer to the rapture. Do you KNOW where you will go?? Hope to see you there.  :pray

Interesting read, odd that all the reference material is late 20th century. Best reference I have found is "Revelations" by Clarence Larkin, 1919. He states the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and uses scripture in Revelations to support his position. This is my belief also.

Nope, the court literally declared bumblebees (specifically) to be fish. That post is a snippet from article about it, i.e. not my words.

Seems what they did was bypass the legislative process to get the bee on the endangered species list in CA. Sounds fine, but in CA almost always have to look at the motive behind the government doing anything and also look where $ is going to/coming from/being diverted from…

Idk, maybe they will now declare bumblebees to be women there.

All religions by their own admission were written by man.

All religions claim that “their man” was a divinely inspired prophet.

All religions but one promise rewards only after death.

The one religion that promises nonexistence after death happens to be the highest earning group with almost all employed members earning over six figure salaries.

Said members of this religious sect went on to weaponize spirituality and turn it into the most destructive dogmatic religions the world has ever seen from Islam to Christianity to Climatology.

No one seems to be able to accept the obvious truth that the wonderous magical entity or being that created this clockwork perfect world and everything in it deliberately or accidentally told nobody anything about the how, who or why and made us to be easily deceived and manipulated if we allow ourselves to be by other humans claiming to have the answers from the makers.

Caveat Emptor.

It all started in a 2019 lawsuit between large agricultural groups in the state — such as almond and citrus growers — and the California Fish and Game Commission.

The lawsuit specifically set out to determine whether the commission exceeded its authority when it designated four bumble bee species as endangered species – the Crotch bumble bee, the Franklin bumble bee, the Suckley cuckoo bumble bee and the Western bumble bee – calling them invertebrates, therefore falling under CESA’s definition of fish.

In years past, fish were defined as “wild fish, mollusks or crustaceans, including any part, spawn or ova thereof.” But in 2015, the legislature modified the definition to read “ ‘[f]ish’ means a wild fish, mollusk, crustacean, invertebrate, amphibian or part, spawn, or ovum of any of those animals.”

In the ruling, the courts gave the commission the legal authority to list invertebrate species as endangered, even if they are not aquatic animals.

“We next consider whether the commission’s authority is limited to listing only aquatic invertebrates,” the ruling stated. “We conclude the answer is, “no.” Although the term fish is colloquially and commonly understood to refer to aquatic species, the term of art employed by the Legislature in the definition of fish in section 45 is not so limited.”

Read 5 different articles on when this dispute began, and you’ll find 5 different opinions and even to the point of which organizations it began with:

https://www.reuters.com/legal/litigation/who-knew-bees-are-fish-2022-06-02/

‘The dispute began in 2018, when the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, the Center for Food Safety, and Defenders of Wildlife successfully petitioned the state of California to consider protecting four species of imperiled native bumble bees (including the delightfully named Suckley's cuckoo bumble bee) under the state’s Endangered Species Act.’

‘One wrinkle though: California’s endangered species law defines candidates for protection as “bird, mammal, fish, amphibian, reptile or plant.” The statute doesn’t say anything about insects.’

^ Seems it would have been easier and simple just to list insects or invertebrates as candidates for protection…But that’s not how anything is done in California anymore.

Oh I think I understand. That seems a bit needlessly complex. Perhaps fighting about it from a faction-vs-faction way is less wise than taking a holistic view.

Yes

Said moth changed colour during the industrial revolution to protect itself from predators.

Polar bears favourite food is people…fact

If you bend the knee it will save the moths

While a polar bear might eat a human it’s hardly it’s favourite food! They say it tastes too much like pork. They much prefer seal, walrus and whale…oh no kill the bears to save the whales. They have been seen actively hunting belugas and pretty much consider anything that moves as food and even some things that don’t move.

Polar bear have recently started to mate with grizzlies, guess they are spending too much time on land and are getting confused.

So if I bend a knee will I save a bear???    Asking for a friend as we both live in the wilderness of Ontario.

I didn't know there was civilization in Ontario.  Wow.

I apologize, I didn't even try to resist that.  You're welcome to make Georgia rednecks jokes.

Who said civilization????   I live in the wilderness in Ontario, just finished putting the summer wheels on the dogsled, not sure why as summer only lasts 72 hours!. Actually we only have 2 seasons, winter and black fly/mosquito which some insist on calling summer.

Don’t believe the hype, there’s nothing to see here and it’s not worth the effort to come here. Unless you want to feed the bears, they’re always hungry.
