Check out the video clip "Chocolate Roast Beef" LOL

lol, that clip alone would get me to watch the show.  I've always said, "If you get the chance to talk to a vet, sit down, shut up and prepare to be amazed."  Stories like that are why.

I must confess, I'm not really familiar with Burns' work.  I guess I could tune out any spin that might be there.  Is he that bad?

Ken Burns "Civil War" is an excellent documentary. Didn't see his baseball doc.  I'm definitely watching the War.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

By most any account War was the best civil war work done.  I'll be watching this one too... Already have Tivo grabbing it.

His Civil War was good, but for one indirect irritation.

Without fail, at least once a year I receive an email that starts off:

"I hope this finds you well... "

I like all of Ken Burns work.  The Civil War series was great as was the Baseball series.  He also did one on Mark Twain that was excellent.

I rarely see anything worth watching on PBS except during fund raising events.  If they showed good stuff like that all the time, I would watch and support PBS.  Since almost the only thing worth a dang is shown only at fund raising time, no thanks.

Buy there programs on DVD, makes it a little bit more bearable.

If you listened to or saw Dave Chappelle's stand up "Killin' 'em Softly" you'd know that Sesame Street is indeed a terrible place.  They judge people right to their face "Hey Oscar, you're a GROUCH!", 6 foot pigeons walking around, an elephant that's a junkie, and a pimp who they call "The Count".

I wouldn't go to Sesame Street if I knew the way.
