This vid really gives you a sense of the quality.  I like this.  I'll probably get it.

I've had the G940 since November but have had trouble with spiking in the rudders; it took until last week for Logitech support to cop to the defect and allow me to send it back in for repairs.   Only the joystick pots are the expensive, Hall sensors - the rudder and throttle are still cheap pots.  I liked the split throttle and the FFB was insane - first time I was hit by enemy fire while flying, the FFB reaction practically jerked the joystick from my hand.  I dialed FFB down after that but it felt very authentic.

All said, I wouldn't buy it again, though.   Logitech's product support is appalling.

I  fly a MSFFB2.  I like the FFB imersion factor.   ild bet 95% or higher who play the game dont/wont ever fly with it because it take a little more skill when your FFB is kicking you around the sky as you try to line on a shot!   lol heaven forbid trying to fly a damaged bird!(i think its fun).

but since MS stopped making them ill have to fine me a new alternative if this opne ever dies beyond repair!

BUT 300 bucks for that thing......... man oh man!

Same here.

I've been through two of em' since they quit makin em' (I've had 4 total). You can find em' on eBay still for decent prices. So, that's 4 sticks in about 15 years, averages 3 3/4 years per stick. Not bad considering that the first two I had were used strictly for Mechwarrior and I am much rougher on the stick playing MW than any flight sim.
