Land on CV and immediatley get slingshot backwards off the deck.




Did anyone else have this problem?......happend to 2 of our guys.
Seems it's been a bug for some time, can we do something about this??

I remember that bug.  The only fix I know of is to not catch the first three wires.

The other fix is to close the throttle all the way when you touchdown.

And not open it again until you've raised the hook.

CM's can't do anything about it. Might be a good idea to send out a reminder to the C.O.'s and they to thier squad respective squads.

HTC is the only one who can fix that bug.

BINGO!!

If you're carrying any power at all on touchdown you risk a slingshot off the back.

All you gotta do is just like Swoop said, make sure that sucker is at idle when you touch the deck and you'll be perfect everytime no matter what wire you catch.  I've even set a hellcat on the first wire and no problems..  Hellcats are stinkers because they always wanna nose over on the deck.
