Mosquito Mk VI

It can do most things (not level bombing, torp runs or CV ops) and is a lot of fun.

It is fast enough to get where it needs to bo, but not so fast as to offer easy and ensured safety.

It is manuverable enough to bring it's guns to bear, yet not so manuverable that it can be flown without thinking ahead.

It has enough firepower to eliminate the "assist syndrome" that many non-top ranked aircraft suffer.

It is potent in the strike role and offensive sweep role.

It is a fighting aircraft for offensive operations.

It is fun.

 Recently, I've been slowly getting addicted to the F4U-1. That plane, simply rocks. Compared to the F4U-1D, the slower climb rate is more than compensated by better maneuverability and longer flight duration.

 Of course, if one's main interest in the F4U Corsairs is merely limited to ordnance carrying jabo duties and field suppression, the F4U-1 is no compariosn to the F4U-1D.

 But as a fighter plane, the F4U-1 is overall better than the F4U-1D. The F4U-1C seems to be better than the F4U-1, only because it has the hizookas.

La7------ for low alt. tgts.yes i'm dweeb , but 90 % of fights in MA are under 12k, soo, why should i punish myself flying TBM,P40, C202 if LA7 it's there , free, it's the best unperked plane ;speed, acceleration,( climb rate, firepower are ok}

FW190D9  & 109G10------- for tgts, over 12-14k

P51D  --- ---- for hangars, strats

Lancs------------ for CVs, can't miss the CV diving on the deck with 42000 lbs

• 109G-10/190D-9 mostly for all types of combats.
• La7 for low level combats
• P-51D for long range missions or light strike converting to fight
• P-47D-30 for strike missions that can become at some point fighter missions
• F4U-1D for navy
• IL-2 to deal with GVs - deadly thing
• Ju-87 to kill CVs or other ships - better with someone alse to devide all ACK - leave you low chance if you alone
• B-26 for bombing - fast enough to come to target average bombload
• Me262 for air supriority missions
• Ar234 to get to HQ - not to destroy just to have a fun.

The G-2 flying so low through the hills of FesterMA that it reminded me of a black beetle running over naked rocks, trying to lure a handful of NME's down with him, overloading his SA in the process and got it from close range with 30mm from an average pilot's G-10. Aformentioned average pilot looked up stats of pilot he just shot down (name sounded vaguely familiar) and was horrified that this pilot had assembled more than a hundred kills already that tour and you guessed it, ONE death.

Anyway, the G-10 for a challenge, it can be deadly but mostly to myself and damn hard to hit something with it, the F4U1 for perks and screaming dive ability, the La-5 for knife fighting, the P-51B to be different and to have the absolute edge at nosebleed altitude and the FM2 for dogfighting and absorbing 20mm's ad nauseam.
