Then again, you could've just rephrased your suggestion without assumptions of lack of commitment. People post things in the heat of emotion - easy out is the very honest "i shouldn't have said that." No one could fault you for that. Quitting is way too much drama for what the situation required. I don't think the problem was the suggestion (as I've heard other suggestions replied to politely), but the assumption that HTC was not trying to give customers a quality product. That assumption was unfair (IMHO), and could have been easily fixed by rephrasing the suggestion in a less confrontational manner (i.e., just cut out the last two or three sentences of your initial post - thats where it went over the top).

Lack of commitment is 100% accurate. Tell me, how much has HTC done for us in the last year. Lets just be hypothetical here. lets say that there are 1500 paying customers (there are probably more than that) at $14.95 a month, thats $22,400 a fricking MONTH!!!! these people are making off of us. Ok now lets take that 22,400 and multiply it by a year= $269,100 WOW!!! And for the $269,000 what have we gotten? A little bug infested POS AH2 that isnt going to be ready for at LEAST another 6 months to a year. Ever heard of the term reinvesting your money? Well to me HTC hasnt reinvested a gawd damn thing. They treat people like a number and thats a fact. If I would have made my suggestion back when they only were making $500 a month or so I bet they would have bent over backwards but now that they are making big $$$ they could give a rip about the customers. Anyone who thinks this is a quality company is an idiot. A quality company is one who strives to please its customers, strives to improve its product. The only thing that has been improved around here is the Map that fester built himself, if it wasnt for Fester we would have the same sim that we had $269,000 ago. Doesnt seem like progress to me, it seems like amoney wave that HTC is going to ride until it crashes on the shore. Well I hope I have started in a small way for that wave to crash, because all I can do to voice my opinion is to cancel my membership. VOTE CAST..............ROCK THE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just one question. Do you have any conception of business expenses?

Fica taxes (yea employees hate them but employers pay the same dollar for dollar for each employee)
corporate taxes
state taxes
insurance (unemployment, compensation, employee health, capital insurance,  etc etc.)
rent
utilities
depreciation
bandwidth
salaries
bonuses
advertising
.
.
.
Go google , search business expenses.

I live in a 5 years old house. I still pay monthly rent about it even if the owner hasnt done anything for it. I still pay even if owner is not goin to make me a new house. And Im satisfied.

Im also very satisfied for AH even if it has some minor bugs and problems. I have had so much fun. I would pay my 14.95 even if there are no AH2.

And what comes to commitment, how can there be several betaversions if no-one works for it...

I think everybody knows I don't always agree with the HTC crew (often/alot of time ) BUT they do have the best support I've ever seen. To say something else is just pure lie.

                   Well Im no business expert, nor do I pretend to be one like you do, but aside from a server, bandwidth, a couple employee's and some advertising, I doubt HTC has much overhead. Actually if I felt they way you do about this I wouldnt hang out here making a fool of myself ... I'd go straight to the HTC and email or call them .(there not gonna put ya on hold for an hour or anything like that )

As for Cash thing They have earned ever penny and deserve it as far as im concerned .

Btw there are plenty of other "buggy/whiny" games on the intardnet you can go waste your time on besides this one .
( when ya find a non buggy/whiny game let me know and ill go check it out )

Oh yeah that tern you mentiond the customer is always right thing... My family owns 2 bissnesseseses... The customer is right MOST of the time... Until he cops an attitude not unlike the one you have here. At this time he is ussually asked to leave and not come back.

I mean what is it you really want to do? Send the Track stars to one MA, the Alt Monkeys to another, the strat dweebs to yet another, take the furballers and ship them off to another MA?

We're saddened by this loss.  Now STFU, and stop taking up our bandwidth you idjit!.  HTC was here 3 yrs ago, it will be around longer.  Thank god you won't.
