Nilsen in english would be nilson or son of nils. very common last name here.

i think my first ah handle was Phenix, then vPhenix back in late 2000 or early in 2001 and i had the same handles on the bbs i think. lost all my passwords and stuff in a severe coffe spilling incident :D and then "became" nilsen. After i found the o'club i realised that using my actual name was a huge miss. to late now so ill stick with it.

My first handle was an abbreviation of my name and my birthyear, simply because I had no idea what I was getting into. After a couple of new names as I was getting into/leaving the game, I decided to settle on something more permanent. I worked with my dad, doing yacht repair for awhile, and learned the name for the aft hatch, the lazereth(sp). I made the mistake of calling it the lazerus one time and got the schpiel(sp again) on the differences between the two. Lazerus, although the incorrect spelling, is the name of one that rises from the dead, as I did continually in my early days of AH, and continue to do now. I thought it fit fairly well and have kept it through a few absences in the MA.

Freaked me out the time I shot down Lasuras:eek:

Gixer as in Suzuki's legendary series of GSX-R race bikes. Raced a 600 for a few years and now heavily into speedway racing sidecars and singles.

Currently own a modified GSX-R 1000 K3 for the street and odd track days.

First used in EAW on the Kali servers, needed a nick quick and I'd never had one before.  Just watched a film called 'Drop Zone' and one of the characters was called Swoop, so I stole it. I quite liked the character and the nick seemed to fit.

The story of the toothpaste ad sig is another matter.

My WB's id was -tron- (as in movie Tron)

before our regular sunday RNZAF squad missions, our sqd used to go to the prac. arena for a fun vulchfest usually with a particular type...once we used Yaks, and refered to each other with a russian slant on our id's  ie. -tronski-

In AH tron was already taken so i used Tronsky
