It REALLY ticks me off when those that know a lot (or a little) about computers make fun of someone who doesn't to make themselves look cool. It is OBVIOUS from the original message he DOESN'T mean open source he's talking about mods. I know very little about programing and I knew he didn't mean  source. READ what he's saying a little closer before you crap on the idea. Dang guys relax a little. Everyone that plays this isn't a computer science major! It doesn't mean they don't have a good idea. I guess in the actual sense I do mean a mod sort of, just something where ya could change things you dont feel are right, try them out and if you really feel your on to something send it to HTC with a message "hi i was noticing that the turnrate on the 109xx was seemd a little strange so i changed <bla bla bla> now it seems to conform to its hostorical flight performance, see what ya think"
thats about it, that and maby tweaks on damage model and stuff.

YEs dammit, thats exactly what I mean!!  
I tink it would be nice to have your own custom paint job, I for one would like to have my carrier bombed and look up with the 5" at a B-17 with "have a nice day" written acroos the bottom of the wings, I like the ideal of costom paint jobs, it would make everyone have "their plane" it would just make things funner, and I would LOVE to see some of the hilarious things that some of the goofballs here would come up with.

You spawn on the runway and in front of you is this crazy looking Nik with chrome wheels and a chain steering wheel and the pilots name un old english across the back of the canopy, as you wait for it to take off it starts bouncing up and down and tilting to one side with a bunch of rap music blaring out of its sterio
