I'm sure as long as you don't let your shades account fly above 5K that would be believeable.

Usually I die to my own ack (IF I die) chasing a dweeb that wants to run in and hit a target first, because he knows he is going to die, and die fast. Yes, your own ack is more deadly to you, than it is to him.

In fighter mode, this tour, I haven't been above 8k in alt. I prefer 5k max, but sometimes you have to go higher to get buffs. Buffs are the gravy!

Gee, thats funny, I've been playin 4+ years and have Never been killed by my own ack.
sounds like anouther "Vossism" to me

so i dont realy care about others score

As long as I kill more rooks and bish more often then they kill me. im a happy man.
I look at my rank only as a source of amusement really and dont take them too seriously as they really do not tell much of anything as there are all sorts of vaiables as to why someone rank is what it is.
For example if your a truely outstanding pilot but you couldnt care less about landing your kills but would rather be a  a fly till ya die type your rank probably  isnt going to be as high as a lesser pilot who only takes the safe route and only fights when he has total advantage
Formyself I figger if Im ranked lower then say 600-700  Im doing ok ad rank wise probably puts mesomewhere near or in the top 3rd which iin my opinion aint to shabby for the way I like to fly.

Well, sounds to me like you dweebs don't defend much. Try launching from your CV when there's low cons around. The CV ack will tear you a new chithole.

Oh, wait, your whole lives have been spent retaining watermelon in your heads! What am I thinking?

Been there done that. CV ack never kilt me either

Perhaps its some kind of conspiracy against you.

Wouldnt  surprise me based on the content of your last message

And considering neither Flit nor myself  levied any kind of an attack on you but rather mentioned our experiances of never having been killed by our own ack

Its quite obvious your not "thinking" at all

You started this. not us.

You have to keep better track of which account you are flying at the time. Sounds like your'e bringing your shades/vulchee account too close to the fields

You seem to have the same problem with BBS and  usenet accounts as well.  I can imagine keeping track of all those personalities could be a problem. Perhaps you could have separate rooms for them in your house to help remember which one you are at the time. You could be Meta in the red room , Oneman in the green room , Voss in the rubber room,  - something like that.

Just a suggestion

That's what I want, a good score.

I want to know the system. I want to have a GREAT score any way I can.

That's why I pay my monthly contribution, update my toybox, stay current with configurations and settings.

I don't want to become proficient with anything other than the in's and out's of having a good score.

Because THAT'S where it's at.

All the rest is so much pap for the fools.

You are all fools..

How was that ??

I was "in" charactor. I have a photo resume with a list of parts played available on request..

Email me.

For example it could prevent this type of thing happening.

Check http://www.freeware.com for screen saver programs. Nearly on a weekly
basis I see new programs cycle through. Usually, they offer the ability to
test drive before you buy. Also, usually, they have annoying messages added
within your animation. It is a good way to make you sure you are
comfortable with the particular system, though.

Good luck,
Paul Hinds

Played for score one Tour just for the heck of it. It really sucked, as in 'no fun'. Boring as all getout. That was before Rod's post or I could've done a little better.

I'm an average pilot and ranked 15th, I think it was. The ONLY guys ranked that high are gaming the game. They play for score and that's it.

Never done it since and I can tell you for a fact -- rank don't mean Jack!

Sorry, I must differ with this point.

Ranks allows you to control the CVs.

If it's attention you want...

Upping "crappy" planes and landing kills will yield more insta-attention than any rank will ever do.

Try me.
