You know... funny thing is... this IS indeed a game. Its not anyone's fault that you can't get the better of an la7/n1k/spit9/pony in your ride but your own. There are many pilots in this game, and there are a certain group which are amazing at what they do. Most of them stick to their own rides, but I've seen them grab planes like 38s/109g2/f6f5/f4f/spitv/la5, and seriously tear apart late war "uber" planes.
The plane can make the difference, but trying to anticipate the opponents move makes the most difference.
I don't know if you were upset when you started this post, but instead of getting mad about seeing the same types of enemies, learn how to beat those rides, then be happy that you see them in the air because most of the time you will own them.
BTW, I think the MA is great, massive online multiplayer games are awesome, and I'll take a MA population of 500 over a CT population of 40 anyday.

Exactly! This is all about competition and fun at it's heart. Competing with/against 500 people is just more interesting than against 40. Competing against those 500 people while providing them the advantage of free choice with regard to plane and tactics is even more fun. Human opponents are what makes massively-multiplayer games addictive and enthralling. Leaving the potential engagements totally open-ended provides infinite variety for everyone.
For example, you may have fought a Niki or Lgay7 1,000 times in your AH career, but no two fights were exactly the same, and you learn everytime you fight, building upon your experience, as do your opponents. You guys just have to look at it from the perspective of hunting humans in a battle of tactical wit.
