Now that 10s of millions of dollars have been spent filtering dna out of pig crap to find out how many of these missing female junkys were consumed someone figures that maybe some small fraction of that might be worth while to spend on trying to keep them alive.
I never saw a link to the original story though. Someone got one?

Are you serious? and thats why this whole story got started?
thats intense...!!

There was, nor is, any justification for that attack (911). Frankly you have just confirmed the opinion I had formed from your earlier post. It's nice to know you think so highly of terrorists.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I doubt he is saying that you 'deserved' the 911 attacks, just that there was a reason for them, hence, reap what you sow. If you interfere in other countries for long enough, it is likely that someone will retaliate in some way at some point. That dosent justify what the terrorists did. It just brings them down to the level of others. Anyway, this is way off the original topic.

I live in BC, and I dont really like seeing my tax dollars going to these safe houses. I'm suprised actually that this is happening with our current government. Just another kneejerk bandaid.

It was an attack on him or his country in particuler and he responded with his own attack. Don't like it, don't attack him or his country  :aok

Its not about who is right or wrong. Its about respect for other people who lost family members on 9/11. And I think you could agree with that.

P.S Is the forums slow for anyone else today?

wanna know what the other side thinks, READ about it, just not from your alphabet soup news station. there is always 2 sides to a coin, its for you to get educated and make informed decisions.

and no I didn't like what Xtoronto said, was a little harsh in my book, but when you attacked him and his country(which is mine too)he was justified in punching back.

There was and is no justification for you too invade Iraq, spare me your righteous indignation.

I see you like too jump too conclusions, so be it, next time try asking what I think instead of thinking on your own, cause in your case it might be dangerous.

After seeing your posts I do not care what you think. You are beneath contempt and notice. If you were interested in saying something cogent you had ample oportunity to do so in your earlier posts without having to be asked later what you meant.

You either think that terrorist attacks on civilians are justified or are a troller of the worst sort. Either way your posts are no longer any interest to me.

you are repeating the same thing you said earlier.

You lack the ability of perception my friend, I tend to listen to BOTH sides before I make a decision, something you lack from your self-centered ego education. What you think and don't think I really couldn't care less, but you just showed your a low level thinker, and here you are trying to be righteous. Spare me would ya.

and just FYI, the attack on 9/11 WASN'T just an attack on you Americans, but on Democracy itself, but since you have a kind of  ego thinking problem you actually believe it was an attack on just you, no wonder we will never agree.

Amazing.
Ripsnort makes a joke about dozens of women being abducted, raped tortured and murderd and not a pip. Not one single word.
Yet look at the rightous indignation about the thought that muslim terrorists might have justifications for their actions that to them make sense.

bin ladin wanted the US out of saudi arabia. It has worked 100 percent. He spent 17 lives, killed 1000s of americans and 100s of canadians and got the US out of Saudi Arabia. The most successful terrorist in history.

Maverick. Obviosly the war on terror has to be fought. But not because your enemy is some demonic evil. But because they are your implacable enemy.  They will not concede or stop so the forces of the west cannot.

And no I don't get my information from by alphabit stations either. I hardly watch news excpet local for the weather because all of them lean to one side or another.

In your eyes you were justified in sending Missiles....

In their eyes they were justified in using planes as a Missiles.....

now, how do we fix that.

Honestly I don't think anyone has a answer for that. They don't follow "the rules of war" I know, I know, rules in war kind of ironic. You can't simply fight em at one place and push them back because its not a single country.  And the difference from us sending missle and them using planes. They intended to hurt civilians. We do not. We intend to hurt people known to be terrioist. I know you can say we'll you did. But not on purpose. Thats the only reason I don't see it justified. The US has many military targets they could of hit. But they had to hit the WTC. Justified to me, no. To you maybe so. And thats fine people aren't ment to think a like.

Jayclark.
Have you seen the footage from desert storm of the phone companys getting taken down with laser guided bombs? Who works at the phone company?

Who works at the pharmicutical factory in sudan or where ever?

They targeted the Pentagon and the White house.

The trade center attacks were formulated to inflict maximum civilian casualitys which is a big difference from current US military stratagies I grant, but you know that civilian casualties will be accepted in any US military action. Yes they honestly seem to minimize those casualtyies. They even degrade thier military capability in pursuit of minimizing enemy civilian casualties while the terrorists attempt to maximise civilian casualties even amongst thier allies...

there are huge differences between the two sides of course. That is why the US has many many allies in the war on terror. But civilians dieing doesnt constitute the litnus test of good vs evil.

I have seen DS footage. Don't know if I have seen footage of those. I understand that the U.S. and every other country has killed civilians in time of war. But there is a reason to hit such objects.  Not just to make a point and kill lots of people like terroist will do. We as Allies don't intend nor want to kill civilians. It just happens, sometimes it has to been done. Althought there has to be a better way in doing it. If the U.S. was to kill thousands of people. In a non war state. It wouldn't be justified. It would be plain out wrong. But yet when it happens to us. People have the need to say you deserve it. I don't think any civilian deserves to die when two countries are at war. When I hear about an Iraqi civilian died or how many civilians are dead so far. I don't say its justified you had a cruel leader. I don't know anyone who does.
