Speed doesn't have anything to do with it. It's the altitude that matters. From personal experience a cell phone works just fine at 5000ft. I'm sure you have specific information about the planes altitude?

Loonies running these websites make more harm than good to their cause. Then again, maybe these sites are part of the goverment cover up?

Bill of rights apply to US citizens, though given enough time the USSC will completely screw that up too.

Hmmmm..nice logic there grunherz.  your friends friend is a friend of a families who motto is 'lets roll', there fore the cellular system, circa 2001, has the ability to process cellular calls from a high speed high altitude jet??  Any cellular guys out there?
By the way, I havent seen Mike Moores movie, I, unfortunatley, stumbled across some pictures of the Pentagon shorltly after the 911 attacks on it, and have come to the brutal realization that a 757 did not hit hit that building.  Then it just snowballs out of control, so, if somebody doenst mind, i would be more than happy to get back on the OBL haters club.  My own limited experience with cell phones on passenger jets prior to 2001 is that they dont work unless you are on the runway, either sitting still or landing or taking off, but in flight, no dice.

one thing is for sure. no one knows what happened for sure. i do think there is more to the story of 911 than we are being told. wouldnt be the first time the gov has been exposed in a lie.

they can find saddam within a few months, why cant they find OBL? unless of course he was "on the payrole." Even some ww2 war criminals were on the big payrole and that was covered up:D <--- is a fact, saw this on the history ch other night and have even read up on it a bit.

prolly more to this then we are being told. and history does repeat itself. our gov can be very shady at times. not saying i actually believe all this but i do think its very possible. and if in the event we ever find out the 911 was set up by the US to instagate a war for Iraq.....just an opinion:cool:

My question is...why does everybody feel it's their duty to expose "lies" and conspiracies all the time....Most of the conspiracy theories don't change my life from day to day. The only thing that has changed for me since sept 11th is securitry around the base I work at, and some of our tactics. but my off work life...nothing(except the airport which should have been this way all along)

Oh and on Cell Phones:

a cell phone is nothing more than a radio...so how does the speed effect it? The data is moving at the speed of light. It's not a paoint to point operation, so as long as there is a tower to send/recieve the data then it would work. in fact at high altitude the range would be almost limitless depending on the power of the tranceiver.

But if you need and example...My wife was in labor. My mother-in-law got on the first available plane from New York to Florida. She called numerous times on her cell phone for the entire duration of the flight to find out whats going on, and that was Nov 10 2000.

Do some research before making a complete noob of yourself. Cellphones were banned from inflight use because passengers using phones in high speed high altitude commercial flights confused the base stations. Early base stations had trouble matching the power levels and performing correct handoffs.

Cellphones have worked fine for many years on aircraft. High altitude jets are actually easier to handle as the arc of coverage and variance in power output required is less.

Now what evidence do you have that at a 757 did not hit the Pentagon. Please provide your credentials as well (ie air crash examiner etc).

OBL is DEAD !!  He died at Tora Bora two years ago.  My only hope is that the cave he was in had enough OX that it took days to run out and he and his friends were digging with their fingernails to the end.

The "if it doesn't affect me day to day, whats the difference?' menatlity is EXACTLY what the corrupted venues of our government hopes for from the majority. And for many many years they have been getting just that. Heres to looking forward to change, and a government that really is "of the people, by the people, for the people"'

I havent seen F-911 yet, But I have heard some VERY controversial topics from the movie, things like on 9/12 the Bin Laden family jet was able to fly all over America picking up various family members, and safely removing them from American soil. Apparently this happened while the rest of America, private pilots and commercial, was GROUNDED.  I havent documented this, nor have I heard anyone deny it. But It wouldn't surprise me at all.

I feel like most of the operations America is involved in have hidden agendas. I have come to expect to be lied to by my governement, I expect to be overtaxxed, I expect to see my tax money wasted on goverment employess that don't actually work. And yes, I still feel its one of the best places to live, IF your middle or lower income. Many of the extremely wealthy families have removed most of their assets from the US to avoid over taxing, but "Joe SixPack" will stay & pay.

And whether it can be proven he was or wasn't involved in the 9/11 attack, his actions since then have definately been intended to harm Americans & America.
