VWE, since you, as many others, did not want to see a B-24, think of it in a positive way.  Now that it is here, you can add several scenarios to the CT and SEA.

Think, with the Ki-84 and the B-24J, the Pacific maps will be completely different.

In the SEA, it is now possible to do a Ploesti scenario which would be very exciting IMO.

And, if you absolutely despise the B-24, think of it like this:
Now Superfly has done a bomber in the new AHII arena and the next bombers probably won't be as difficult to make as the first.

Now TBolt, about that sig.... :D

YES! Finally a B-24. I get so tired of B-17's being the only heavy US bomber. Now maybe we can do a proper Ploesti scenario.
WTG Superfly and HTC. Now, if we could just get a 29 in the mix...

Remember fighter pilots make movies, bombers made history.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Hehe Tbolt.  Now you HAVE to get rid of it. :D

For now anyways.... ;)

Its better then nothing.

And I do not despise the B-24, but does it really add more to this game than say the HE-111 or Pe-2?

I hope that HT dialed in the flight characteristics of that thin Davis wing. This is a plane that really needed 2 pilots on the wheels when loaded up heavy.

And yes it will be used in the MA as a dive bomber just like the B-17...

I hate this.  Why waste a perfectly good bomber formation to suicide-dweeb to get a kill on a hanger.  There should be some kind of reward for landing a successful bombing mission.  I'd hate to see a beautiful B-24 divebombing into an airfield!

Well, at risk of being ostracized by the "gamers" in the community, there has been a very simple suggestion made (and, heard by staff) that could end the divebombing b.s.

:)

The bigger question is how many skins will be accepted total?

Figure for the 24 at minumum to be fair you'd have:

USAAF 5th, 8th, 13th, 15th AF and possibly 11th for those Aleutian birds.

RAF
RAAF
USN

That's 8 already and it covers just about all aspects of the B24's war then.

Throw in some of those F7 paint schemes and  even a formation assembly paint job and the list gets long :)

Well, I'm not trying to push any limits here.  But, HT said to make the sig shorter, and it IS shorter now.

The B-29 was a huge plane.  It deserves a big font, imho.  ;)
