I'm no easterner. I'm in Alberta.

The reason I couldn't recognize it is because whenever I've flown in and out of it, there were always clouds below the plane so I've never actually seen the border lines.

Our world famous cowboy academies process hundreds if not thousands of wannabe Texan cowboys every year.

We teach them to go from this:

... to this:

What could Daytona Beach possibly teach anyone? How to be gay?

Actually we teach them that they can't bring their funny money down here and pass it off as the real thing. We also have the entire Canadian Navy come here for training......Last time they brought both Bayliners.

Rebbeca Peters spent 4 years in New York city working for an anti-gun organization. From that experience she stated incredulity at U.S. citizens not seeing we should ignore our constitution in the face of the human tragedies in our country due to the proliferation of guns.

After all she had a large part in framing the gun ban for Australia and input on Great Britans. But then it's easy singing to a choir that has already decided to not listen to its subjects\citizens. In the end both countries citizens now personally pay the price for her vision of utopia. But she got her way! A ban on private ownership of guns. Now if she could only wave her magic wand and give Australia and Great Britan's citizens back their lives before they were murdered, raped, and robbed due to being disarmed and the subsiquent criminalization of self defence in general.

Lets hear it for Rebbeca Peters and the Utopia she can bring us.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Canada is Florida’s number one overall economic partner:
Number one source of in-bound tourism;
Number one source of foreign direct investment
Florida’s overall economic relationship with Canada results in approximately 90,000 direct/indirect jobs in the sunshine state (or 70,000 to 75,000 jobs if industry overlapping employment is not factored); with a two-way trade totaling $7.2 billion.

If indirect exports via other states were included in trade rankings, Canada would likely top Brazil as the top destination of Florida exports.

Florida’s tourism revenue and tourist “bed taxes”, enhanced by Canadian tourist contributions to the tune of $1.4 billion in 2003, allows Florida to remain one of the few states without a personal income tax; thus lowering local tax burden, now ranking a resident-friendly 40th in the nation.

Canada is Florida’s number one source for tourism, with nearly 1.9 million Canadians expected to visit the state in 2004 and increasing to more than 2.1 million by 2006.

Canadian tourists top the list as Florida's most important tourism market, accounting
for approximately 30% of all international person visits in 2003; resulting in $274 million in total tax revenue impact benefiting the state.

That's a lot of "funny money"

You mean these Canadians...

 http://www.hydroonenetworks.com/en/media/florida_hurricane/default.asp

"Helping one another out in times of a major disaster is a longstanding tradition in the electricity industry. Hydro One's lines staff is among the most highly trained and efficient in the world and we have been proud to lend a hand to Florida in the wake of Hurricane Frances.
This collection of letters and stories is a snapshot of not only our crews' efforts and Hurricane Frances' destruction, but also the gratitude of Florida residents.
After our crew of 270 returned home, Hurricane Jeanne hit the Gulf Coast on September 25, destroying much of our hard work. As a testament to our superior skills and professionalism, Florida Power and Light made a special request for Hydro One
staff to once again come to their aid. Hydro One dispatched a fresh crew of 220 on September 27. While the efforts of our crews in Florida have been extraordinary, I'm proud of the enthusiasm and dedication that all of our people serving the province of Ontario demonstrate each day."

They even supported a local football and bought them all new jerseys.

Silly Canucks.....
