US national anthem played at Changing of the Guard...
« on: September 13, 2001, 03:54:00 PM »
A crowd of 35,000 gathered outside Buckingham Palace to pay their respects.

Unprecedented gesture

Also, tommorow there is to be a minute silence in most towns across Britain.

Like our Prime Minister says, we stand 'Shoulder to Shoulder' against those responsible.

These cerimonies aren't being percieved as merely gestures.  They are acts of solidarity.

This type of scene goes to great lengths to strengthen resolve and help everyone focus on the task at hand.

Say thankyou to everyone you know Dowding... from me and everyone I know.

Dowding,

Thank you. These actions speak so much more eloquently than mere words in a speech.

Many of us know how seriously you guys take the Changing of the Guard.

Thanks; a very nice and well-done gesture.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Thanks Brits.

And thanks to all the other nations that are standing firm with us.

I was extra proud to be British when I first read, and then saw on TV, about this gesture.

Salute to all!

I just saw the video on television...

Wow... to play the song that we created in our fight against your very own country.

We are united. We are brothers in arms and I love you all.
