I researched differently. My large cargos are about 30% faster than my small ones. Only thing I use small ones anymore for is shuttling stuff amongst my colonies out in gal 5... only cuz all of my large cargos are assigned to raiding fleets or the emergency fleetsave group :)

thats what i am wondering... my combustion eng is lvl 6, and they only go 12500.... though impulse lvl 5 smalls go 20000.

is there a point where large cargo's get impulse engines? like impules lvl 8 or something?

Nope.  I've almost entirely stopped using large cargos, I now use 1 or 2 larges to shuttle stuff from the farm colonies and use only small cargos for raiding.  The only time I use a large cargo in a raid now is if I am facing resistance, then I use em because of the better shields and armor.

Jeez I went up on rank like crazy overnight. Im sitting at 725 with tons of cargo coming in fast. Right now sitting halfway in researching impulse engine 4, which takes 8 HOURS!!! :eek:


Its coming in faster then I can spend it :D

I had that "problem" yesterday. Its harder to find farms now.. ive emptied those that are close and easy.

I just emptied one that had over 100K crystal and a different one that had over 100K metal. Currently im maxed out on storage so everything except deut is shut off

Hyperspace level 5 takes 2 days 5 hours and 20 minutes to research. Thats with a level 8 research lab.

Well after having over 160K in metal and 100K in crys, I decided to get me a rocket silo and get some IPBM's started. My score is almost 1000 already.


Find someone thats been afk for 2 weeks and "poof" no more defenses :D
