Interesting note that the guy teaches 8th GRADE[/I] science.....this was not shown in High School or College, it was an 8th grade science class.  I guess you're never too young to be involved in politics.

Well that's something.

Now go away with your "on-topic" posts.  They ceased in this thread long ago :D

Thank you SOB. Short and to the point. I should have said that instead.

That's the sad part. In college I can understand, high school is pushing it and middle school is definately out.

I don't want my tax dollars used to swing a generation left or right. Just teach them to read, write and do the frickin' math.  If they can do the basics, they can learn the rest on their time and money.

If so, it appears your core is rather easy to shake.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Perhaps, or perhaps I'm giving too much credence to him in the first place. His argument was pretty sad and more personal opinion. The only fact he cited was a teacher being fired for showing the class an anti-Bush film with vulgarity, yet he tries to tie it to a liberal agenda, thus showing his own right wing agenda.  If he bashed both sides, I wouldn't have said anything.

That's quite a leap, isn't it?

I haven't see or heard a single thing from the current administration on this issue. Is there some offcial White House spin on the story that I have missed?

Or are you just being the other side of En4cer's coin?

It's a generalization. Conservatives will believe what the conservative administration says, ignoring all logic, and the same for the liberal camp.

I doubt the White House will get involved. With Bush's approval rating at such a low, that could damage conservative appeal so bad, it risks spreading across the whole camp.  They'll play it safe and let the local authority handle it, as it should always.
