ATF abuse their power..... again.
« on: April 13, 2006, 09:51:12 PM »
Some poor kid jogging in a ninja custume gets his rights crushed by the ATF.

I ran into this on a Jeep forum. The kid was complaining how bad they treated him and how the story is misleading.

IE he was jogging not peaking around corners and that he heard no sirens.

The ATF and DEA both need to be disbanded right now.

I didn't see that part. I saw that they had guns on him.

I didn't find this in the story either. The feds said he was peaking around corners, there's nothing from the kid denying it.

Bwahahahaha!!! Let's also do away with police protection, military defense. Let's just arm the public and let them shoot it out.  Whoever's still standing, inherits the earth.

WOW!

“Seeing someone with something across the face, from a federal standpoint — that’s not right,” McLemore said, explaining why agents believed something to be amiss.

I wonder what the Feds think about pointing MP-5s at 5 y/o children.

Well you’re off to a great first day.

The kid (in the story) was posting to the FORUM I found the link on.  Talking about how the article was misleading. Maybe you should work on your reading skills.  You may not like reading things from people who don't bother to check spelling and grammar but in the future I think I will avoid reading your spew because you are rude caustic.

You are not going to last long around here.

I also guess it is OK that federal agents stopped a college kid who was jogging, pull guns on him with the false assumption he had a gun, detain him and kneel on his neck, all for nothing. (yes the article does not say this but I will take the kids word over the feds since they didn’t charge him with a crime and are  going to need to cover their asses)

You did catch the part where he was not charged with a crime?

Maybe you are fine with fed agents kneeling on an innocent kids neck for the MAJOR crime of wearing bandanas on his face, but since I don't think that is against the law ANYWHERE in the country I think it is an abuse of power.

I am all for reasonable law enforcement if you think that’s what this is you’re in the wrong era, and country.

If this is how you acted with your last ID on this board I can see why you were so reluctant to let people know who you were.

ATF and DEA both have serious issues with over stepping their bounds. Both agencies should be disbanded and start over with a whole new cast of folks.

There's been many over the top reactions by police, federal agents and ordinary adults. This story hardly ranks as one of them.  However, the pointing of weapons at 5 yr olds is totally out of order.  If that happened, and someone didn't lose their job, that's a story worth getting fired up over.

And thx z0rch.  It'll still be a few weeks until I have the funds stabilized and the parts in hand for building, but I hope to make new enemies in the mean time. My Jug hasn't flown for a long time. It may be a bit rusty.

Read my posts in the thread about the DEA agent that shot himself in the foot with his Glock .40 and is now sueing the DEA.

That's out of order. I remember that story. That fool should have checked that weapon before showcasing it. It's common sense weapon safety.  I learned it in the army, too bad the law enforcement tends to have stupid people among it's ranks.

Unfortunate he didn't shoot himself in the gonads. He definately shouldn't be adding to the gene pool.

Did you provide a link to the post in that forum? No.
Did you copy and paste his words here with a reasonable quote? No.

Should i take your word for it? No

I see all kinds of outrageous claims from strangers over the internet.  The only thing you truly cited was the story. Everything else is heresay.

Oh so that’s why you got all insulting?

Maybe in the future if you have questions you can ask them, like an adult.

I see your still not taking everything in on the first try either since you totally miss understood what Elfie's said as well.

Read it. Is that proof they're corrupt and abusive as a whole? It's proof the group that came to your house is stupid.
