Seen some questions from new HOTAS owners as far as what to do with all those programable buttons. The best answer is, that you should tailor them to your own flying habits. You'll want easy access to the functions that you use the most, which may vary depending on what type of sortie you usually go on.
That said, here is my button setup as an example. It is tailored to flying twin engine P-38s.
