Yet another argument for adding lightly perked, towed, Geman 88mm Flak36's to the game.  Would make taking buffs over TT a might dangerous to buffs, if the GVr's had a mind to defend their airspace.  Might make sitting still at a spawn point a might unhealthy too.

Yes your complaining and whining and I thank you. I love to bomb tank town when I get the chance. Some B-17's with 100lbrs and carpet bomb the living crap out of the place. Brings a great big smile to my face when I do it. Peoples reactions like yours are the reason I do it too.

Like HiTech said at the con, "It's all about pissing the other guy off."

Glad I'm doing my part.

Ok....lets try this again,

"ACES HIGH II....WWII COMBAT SIMULATOR"

Folks, that the way it was in the real deal, so why be different if your simulating it??????

I will go to TT in a heavy Fighter, blow a couple of tanks sky high and then bring it down to them, guns blazing till I run out of bullets.

And it always ends up with one of them getting me before I can bug out, so those poor little GV's aint as defensless as some would like them to seem. Rarely do I ever land a kill from TT, but maybe thats due to me flying it for the fun of it and not the points.

I don't see what the issue is, the TT  bombers provide an almost endless stream of amusement.  95% of the time the tards miss with all their eggs then make strafing runs ad nauseum until they finally pancake on the ground next to you or peg a tree.  Always be sure to ping em up with the pintle so you know who to laugh at when the finally eat it.

To top it off, these arrogant SOBs have the nerve to complain when WE bomb THEM. Hell it's 200x more dangerous to try to bomb a GV than it is to kill a GV in another GV.

But then, like I said, "I'm not complaining"....

I agree with krusty.  Go to the TT part of "FURBALL Island" hvy.  Dive down on a GV or 2.  Put yourself lower than all the cons about and get out alive, or is it easier to "whack a mole" ?

To add to the thread, not that I'm complaining but Rooks dominate by numbers in TT.  Rest of us rooks are ENYed to Mid war planes while these guys are whacking their .... err moles.

May I thank ALL GVers for their contribution to Aces HIGH.

Must also add that the old style TT play area was better because GV's got to be spread out a lot more in that open plain.  Now it's almost straight lines of GV's waiting for me Hurri C's 500 lbers...no searching just straight in on spawn. 10 GV ...."bombs away".

I never gave a thought to the GVs adding to the ENY numbers. Good point.

Why not just lift a tempest or other uber cannon ride & get above the buffs & enjoy your good fortune?

I have always been baffled about the guys unhappy with buffs over tanktown.  Jugs, Tempest, Mossi, 110, and 190s all perfect planes for keeping Buffs honest in TT-

You dont want Buffs in TT- YOU kick em out- with CANNON FIRE!

It would appear that tank town is where you go to bomb GV's.

Guess it will be a few more months before I visit again.

Personally I agree TT "USED" to have great ground battles.

But that was before they had everyone spawn within immediate firing range of everyone else.

Now its just "whack a mole"

But the planes arent the problem as they've always been there

So why not take your squad to another side and even the numbers a bit?

Not telling you how to play Lynx just wondering.

It is 'whack a mole' at TT.  As far as bombers, well, too bad.  I wouldn't expect to live more than 5 mins at TT, just expect it.

Good way to stop the complaining about TT bombing, spawn camping and # of friendlies in TT driving up ENY.....

Capture it all and deny everyone the ability to go there.  LOL
