People wondered if he was going to be shipped off to rehab.

Its almost like the stories you heard of Russia during the cold war.They would send dissenters to hospitals to cure them.

If she just wanted to call Edwards a fowl name, I'm sure she knows some that are more fowl. But then that wouldn't have put the spotlight on the Nazis that would outlaw speech the government deems inappropriate or hateful. Larry Flint diapered himself in an American flag to give Ann Coulter the right to call Edwards a bad name - live with it.

The blog on NewBusters by Noel Sheppard whining about Bill Mayer was no better. "Bill Maher should be fired!" I think Noel Sheppard would make a good liberal.  He wants to fire someone for an ideological rant?

I think what bothers the liberals the most is that they feel that they own entertainment...  especially comedy..and even more so...political satire.

For the most part.. they do.   And.. despite oboes experiance... most of us know how downright mean and angry a lefty comedian can be.

I think what is wrong is that lefties can dish it out but they can't take it.   This has been my experiance with em my whole life.

Absolutely right.

I work with women (mostly) in my profession, and it's the same thing... they can say or do anything they like, but let you give back in kind, and WHAMMO! You just have to smile at every dumb joke they make at your expense, and never, EVER return in kind. It's your job if you do.

Maher joking about Cheaney being killed is not as heartless as Coulter's studmuffingot remark? Libs, help me resolve this. It doesn't make any sense, but then I am merely a helpless conservative.

Coulter is a hack and a joke, and anyone taking her comments seriously needs help. Same for Maher. But as Lazs points out, it isn't a level playing field, is it?

All I would ask is...
