I dont know why there is all the talk about rules for how you fly, the only thing in those rules is how you should treat your fellow AvA fliers. There is absolutely nothing in those rules about "do not HO or gang". Very simply, they say "do not disrespect others and there will be no problem".

If you cant abide by those first two simple rules (I wouldnt bother with #3) then maybe you dont need to participate in the AvA.

Grits all theyre doing is trying to make it easier to mute certain people that they dont like. Simple as that. If those people say something that the CMs dont like then they mute them. Just trying to bully the sandbox and only letting thier friends in to play.

Please TK, stop the poor innocent victim BS, you are neither innocent nor a victim. Why is it so hard for you to not disrespect people? Is it REALLY[/b] going to be that hard for you not to **** on people? I mean really, how hard is that going to be?

I don't know much about your history with the AVA staff, but you and I don't have any. I don't need any rules to mute you or anyone else that is being a jerk. Judging by what is said in the AVA staff forum they are simply looking for a way to make public what they expect from players concerning behavior. In fact just the opposite is true Larry. They want some guidelines so they don't over step their powers.

I don't care if you believe me or not, but I would mute you just as fast as I would oldman, or even a squadie if you guys were being rude to other players and ignored my warning. Not everyone has it out for you or JG54.

I've only been muted once in 4 years and that was in the MA and I deserved it. In the past though, I admit I have acted in ways that were not acceptable and did not get muted for whatever reason.

So, you're telling me you can stop disrespecting people?

DD its a bad one. I even quit being a CM because I didnt like how some of them were treating others, and when I was one I was told to only mute someone if they were way out of control. I was told to warn them and if they didnt listen to mute them for 10mins. If they did anything else I was told to then do it for an hour. In my month or so of being one I only muted one person, who was talking about VWEs mother. After about 10misn of him trashing everyone in there I told him to please stop on ch1 then on CM ch. then I muted him. Those are the only times a CM should mute them, only if thay are way out of line.

I had a couple long-winded replies to this thread but decided to keep it simple. I just can't believe that there are adults that have to have these kinds of discussions reguarding behaviour in a video game.

Any faith I had in the world, nay, humanity as vanished as quickly as the Internet manifested. Makes me feel absolutely filthy for working in the industry and keeping the packets flowing for a bunch of man-children.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some goat-on-goat porn to download. Jesus, I hate the Internet.

Iv only been muted twice in the 6 years Iv been playing. And yes I can be the nicest person in the game, but if someone else starts the trash talking Im not ganna sit back and let them. Ill say something back, that how I am if you think thats wrong then its to damn bad. I was always told to stand up for myself not sit back and do nothing.

TK, it isn't about making it easier for us staff members to start muting people, it's about not having to do so. Well, actually I've never had to mute anyone, and as you should know I have had no problems with you or any of your squad. IMO most of the times a warning should be enough and I don't think anyone has been ever ejected from the arena.

Those points were meant to be a reminder (to us all) about civil behaviour. Sorry if you took those personally, weren't meant that way.

I would not put any rules.  Every one knows what the rules are for fights.  Up to the to follow them.  Making recomendations would just increase the whines.

Same goes for rules of conduct.  Once you post them you will have to deal with people dicecting every word trying to justify why they should have not be muted or ejected.  I say don't post them.  leave it up to the staff members to decide.

Now, I seem to notice that no one ever things that they got muted for a good reason.  I'd say that I have never been muted (warned a few times) in 5 years and I know I croos the line often.  What I am saing is that if you got muted, you probably deserved it.  Even if it means it was your previus history that caused it.
