Husky what Fencer was saying Historically it will Pit the 56th FG, 4th FG and maybe the 78th FG of the 8th USAAF as well as various BG's from the 8th against LW JG's that flew in that Theater, in that time period, during the War. JG/26 comes to mind, maybe JG/53 also....JG/2....I'd have to look them up. My memory is fading as I age

Ok, let me try again.

There will be a 4th FG in the scenario.

There will be a 56th FG in the scenario.

There will be II/JG11 in the scenario.

There will be III/JG27 in the scenario.

Now who fills these slots may or may not be the same people in those groups in the main arena. People need to go fly where they will have the most fun and the most immersion.

I would like the 56th to fly in the scenario under their "colors" but they need to go have fun where ever they want. I doubt many of the 4th FG will fly the scenario, but there will be XX P-51s with red noses airborne at T+whatever when this kicks off whomever is at the controls.

Amen to that. And variety is the spice of life. It sounds cliche' but it's oh so true.

and Fencer certainly knows a thing or two about scenarios

I fully expect this one to be a nail biter for all and would hate to miss another good one.

484th will be there. The group is pretty excited about it. Sounds like the S3's we used to fly to some extent.

The official announcement will come once all of the design/rule discussions are complete. I would guess it will be out sometime this week, but I could be wrong!
