I never understood why it's not done that way to begin with.

Can't,  then they just all up a mission of 5 ENY planes. Then you have numbers and low eny capped AC.

Now, up until that time I could have contributed to the reset greatly. So, punishing me for being married would be just another load of crapola that I have to deal with while trying to have fun and dealing with wife ack, dog ack or < shudder > Mormons or Jahovah Witness' at the door.

Well what ever move the no perks earned up to an hour  or 30 mins afk.. no real biggie. However it tends to be the normal that when it's close to a reset... guys tend to not want to log off their account.

They just sit in the tower or go afk and do nothing but cause the ENY to rise. Personally, if Im' going to be AFK longer than 10-15 mins I log out.

Long time ago when I was a n00b and still flying LA7 only, it was the only way for me to gain some perks at all ;)

The same way they do it now, when more people come online the ENY goes up, when more people get in the air the ENY would go up.

I logged into Blue yesterday and Rooks had taken TT.

I sat in the tower for about an hour and a half.   Volunteered to goon for the retaking of V26, but someone else had a goon rolling.   I sat back again.

Then 4 of us took P21 when VansCrew didn't want to lose his #1 ranking by killing his KPH.

I did more than what I saw for 1.5 hours.    Taking TT bases is something I'll never understand, regardless of who does, and I sure wasn't gonna help defend them.

From Hitech's Help Files
The war is won when any country is reduced to one field.  At that time, the arena is reset, a different terrain is rotated in with the country territories randomly set, and a perk point bonus is awarded to players that have been in the winning country for a minimum of 12 hours prior to the end of the war.
Aside from the fact that the win-the-war criteria has not been updated (imagine that  ), it says nothing about having to actually be on-line and playing to get the perks -- only that you have to have belonged to the winning country for at least 12 hours.

Ok.  The simplest simpley simple plan to fix this.

No perks for a reset.

After all, it's really about winning the war, right??

Bish 103-52
Rook 52-45
Nit 41-38

Not sure how it turned out i left after awhile, but eny isn't the issue it's dolts that just sit there for hours.
