Perhaps you could explain what you mean by this?

What "ball" do I have?

Yes. I simply don't understand what you are trying to say.

What exactly is the "ball" that I have on this BBS or in some thread here?

I'm sure you can explain it succintly in a few lines.

Please do.

Okay, I'll humour you.

Your ball is the concept that whenever I come here to post I do so to put down the United States or that I never miss an opportunity to do so.

You state clearly in another thread that my record here speaks for itself.

For giggles I did a search last night on "Curval" in the O'Club.

I don't see to what you refer to.  Sure we have had our little discussions in the past, but you have GENERALISED about my posting history.  It seems that if I have an opinion I am simply trying to slag the United States, which is not the case...and yet you keep calling me the sensitive one...funny, I know...but true.

Try it.  Search "Curval".

Now lazs has obviously read the thread where you make that suggestion and is sproutng the same junk.  He has metophorically picked up your "ball".

Well, if you thought I meant every single post of your is US-bashing, I apologize for not being clear enough.

However, I think a review of your post history will show that in those threads that degenerate into a US v Euro "slagging" match, you are almost always there and you will slag along with the best of them. Not that you necessarily start it but you do descend into the hog wallow and wrestle in the mud with the best of them.

In the threads that are not US v Euro slags, you seem to be a normal, intelligent poster.

I'll accept that.

As I have said before I always favour the underdog and on this US centric board ;) the Euros are at a tremendous disadvantage...if only from a numerical standpoint...so, sure I'll get down in the mud...why not?  I mean if all that you want is "yes men" around here there would simply be thread after thread of Euro/liberal bashing with subsequent posters saying "Yup" or "word".

Not much fun if you ask me.

I enjoy our debates and even our jabbing...because you sir are a smart cookie and I've actually learned some things from you.

Moving briskly back to the subject...Scotland......absol utely stunning scenery, fantastic people...(even if a lot of them dont like the English lol)....amazing whiskies (unfortunately I cant drink them....dammnit).........I've taken my wife up and round a few places up there, Ullapool, Loch Lomond, Edinburgh etc.....always had fun, had a few heated discussions about the past (and always always somehow ended up getting very very drunk with the person I was arguing with........)........all in all, if you visit, you WILL remember it...(eventually.....ish, thru a haze)...lol...

This was aimed at Lazs.
I hate to take up the wee glove for him, but bear in mind  that We (or WEEEE) of Laz's origin did indeeed screw up the "English" at Bannockburn.
So did the Normans at Hastings.
And the Whisky is .....Scotch.  Try Glenmorangie BTW.

The English are after all, Anglos, Saxon's, Pict's, - Romans, Normans, and as for today a heap of other breed.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

I have been to Scotland a number of times.  It is a great place!  People are friendly, girls pretty, and the beer.....  :)

I have been to England a few times also and I would pick Scotland hands down if I had a choice of where I wanted to visit.  Don't get me wrong, England is nice, but Scotland is much better!

I look forward to my next visit there!

Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
