I am an engineer and a team player... I am more interested in focusing my efforts on helping my company gain market share than proving I am "better" than the next engineer. I don't need that kind of ego boosting.

I am on the interviewing team at work and have veto power on all prospective engineering interviewees. I earned that veto power based on an ability to size up a person's likelihood to produce more than they cost and additionally, their likelihood to play well in the sandbox with the team.

I fly Aces High because I love to fly and love the challange of the learning curve... and because I enjoy people who have their s*it together and are fun to be around.

It would be refreshing and exciting to know you professionally if you are indeed  an exception(there are always exceptions) to the rule(at least as far as I have experienced). I have not been fortunate enough to know someone like you.

I discuss politics with, and listen to, a number of my co-workers who are mostly men. I determine for myself whether they know what they are talking about... or not. There are people who are numbies and people who know their stuff.

I don't have Androphobia and also I don't assume that every other woman has her s*it together.

But with that said, I don't view other women I don't personally know as potentially dangerous to me physically... and I view unknown men with some justifiable trepidation in that regards... till I get to know them better.
