I edited it out because I felt it was too harsh. It's not illegal to think the way you do, I was just making an observation. For some reason you think Al Sharpton is right up there with Osama Bin Laden. In your post you wrote,"taken up dis cause for da black folk". Why did you type it that way? Please explain. You and I know Al Sharpton is an educated person who does not talk/write that way.

Leaving Al aside for a moment.

She opened her mouth and spoke the words on the air. She could have chosen other words knowing she was live on air. She is supposed to be a professional commentator aware of all the nuances of the industry.

She placed her foot in her mouth. As much as I don't like Al's version of extortion, once the shot was fired she lost control of it but is still responsible for the repercutions.

Ooopsy I didn't know it was loaded is no defence or reason for a defence. Everyone white in the media should take out sharpton insurance policies after Imus. Al don't care if you are Liberal, Dem, Rep or your gender. You are white is all that matters to him.

Well he isn't on the same level as Bin Laden.....But I would say he is one of the sorry people we are subjected to listen to until we can get the channel changed.

I wrote it that way cause I heard it about 6 or 7 times today during a few errands I was running earlier today before work. I happen to be at a store....where some people were standing there talking about this VERY subject. While I was searching for what I wanted....I listened to what they had to say...and those words were the EXACT ones used in referance to how Black People are being abused on TV.

Strange how I was looked at while standing there looking for a battery for a car. Wearing a Golf Shirt and Golf Cap. All of the sudden I felt very out of place like I had said something.....

I'm personally SICK of hearing this kind of race bating B.S. from Al Sharpton and his followers everytime something is said he don't like.

We have FREEDOM of speech here.....until Al don't like it then its Al's way or the unemployment office.

He ain't worth a bullet like I said in my opinion....and I'm free to say it.

I don't think she meant anything by it. However, she should be accountable for what she said. You think she would be more aware of what she says during a live broadcast. It's ultimately up to the Golf Channel if she remains part of their company. She has shed negative light on the golf channel, and they could lose money over this.

Al Sharpton is an activist. His "job" is to bring light to issues he thinks is important (mostly race issues). Whether you agree or disagree with his stance, it's good to see that we are atleast talking about it.

Accountable for what she said.....is the issue....She didn't say anything. She used a word....that Al Sharpton jumped on as a black thing. It's not a black thing at all. He just turned it to that. It's B.S. and pratically everytime anyone says something he can latch on to as a black thing he does.

Activist? Well that's one thing to call him.

I see an activist as someone protesting the war....protesting gay marriage...things like that......

Sharpton is a race baiting loud mouth who works the community into a frenzy. Turns things into something that were not really anything nor were they taken to be anything until he speaks.....He's like the E.F. Hutton of Sppech....when he speaks.....everyone listens .......to BS.
