Yes I do exist.
I was born in French Morroco. My father was stationed there for 12 months with the Airforce in 1956, and allowed to bring my pregnant mother with him. I am white and an African-American. Since origion seems to be the gold standard of being African-American.
I always ask american blacks where they were born. As of yet when they cannot tell me they were born anywhere in Africa, the next few minutes are a diatrab on me being racist. If the definition of racist is I was born in Africa and they were not, maybe they realy arn't ready for prime time in the U.S.?
The only blacks I have met in the U.S. who were born in Africa are immigrants, ilegals or the children of American militairy or American contractors.
Sooo, where was all yalls born who is callin themselves African-American on this BB?
Are you an American citizen? If so, imo you are an American, not an African-American unless you have dual citizenship in Morocco. Then it would be more accurate to say your are a Morrocan-American, or maybe an American-Moroccan.
This whole Mexican-American, African-American, Japanese-American etc etc etc garbage is one of the silliest things of the whole PC movement imo. If you are a citizen of the USA, you are an American period.
My grandparents on both sides came over from Czchekoslovakia, yet I don't consider myself a Czchek-American, I am simply an American and proud to be one.
