With the new forum I am no longer able to see which threads have new posts in them. I can hit "mark as read" but that only shades the forum button on the front page of the forum, not the individual threads in for instance Generel Discussion.

Are you using the browser buttons to navigate (back, forward....)?  If you do then the cookies do not get updated.  Use the tree link above the forum/topic lists to move around within the forum.

That is a guess on my part as I have not seen any issue with the 'new' icon not showing up whenever a new post or replay is made.

As a side note, if someone edits their reply in a thread and it was the last reply, it shows as 'new'.

My one irk about the new forum is that they no longer have a link to the hompage.

with all these new forum goodies and stuff, sure would be nice to implement that all Forum Users are required to include
their in game gameid. and make it where the user can not register or post without it....... :rock  <----now that is a good worthy smiley

Not sure if this has been covered, but when posting a hyperlink, there is no oppoertunity for a 'shortcut' like there used to be--you have to actually post the whole link, with a work like 'link' or something to hide it behind

The button only uses the {url}LINK HERE{/url} syntax. Manually entering {url=LINK HERE}TEXT HERE{/url} still works.

See?

The "HOME" button takes you back to the HTC home page.
