LOL, now you're comparing apples and oranges. The sedans don't sell because they are sexy or that they are fast, they sell because they are dependable and economical. And yes they are smurfy as well.

I would like a new z06, and I'm not what you would consider a vette guy.

mg sometimes you sound like a salesman for the Japanese auto industry. Personaly I don't care for the ricers never have and probably never will, but like was said before that's just my opinion.

Everyone has their own taste. I love the look of a vet. I like the look of some Aisan cars. I also think that some classic cars are "ugly", but more than likely you would call me crazy not to like them.

The point is, it's a fast car with lots of little things in it that make it "better" and the press makes it look like it's a car that you got to have. Weather you like it or not is you opinion.

BTW The SSR is something I would love to have in my driveway

A general rule for a car to be considered a supercar is 100hp per liter.

An RX-7 with a 1.3L making 255hp = supercar
Brand new Z06 with its 6L making 400hp = not a supercar.

mt.. No, I don't know how many japs find the term offensive.   I grew up in LA in a neighborhood that was mostly ex-internment camp japs and blue collar workers in the 50's.   I don't recall it being offensive then.

Now the area (Hawthorne) is mostly all negros.

As for the jap cars and no one buying them because they are so smurfy..  I thought we were talking about the hot rods.. the sports cars with HP...  the supercars...   grocery getters and commuters don't count.. those are for people who don't like cars.
