Well I think the science of sex education should be taught, most parents would not know all the things that need to be brought up in reproduction. The big difference I have seen here in the USA & the rest of the world is that sex education is perceived as encouraging kids to go out & try it.

The 'science' of sex ed is evolutionarly abundant.  It's called the ever so accessible internet.  You do it, Hangtime does it (or has twice) and so do your kids.  It's society, and surely even the most mundane poster in the 'whatever' club' realizes it.  What is amazing, and borderline Dateline was here, honey, is the fever/excitement it arouses in the community, you hold, at-large.

Put a bunch of teenagers in a room and talk about how not to get pregnant, what do you think they will be thinking about the rest of the day (at least).

Society should determine this.  The reason the school system around here started teaching sexual education was because parents were not doing this.  It is better to be taught in the schools as part of human biology.  It SHOULD NOT be taught to infants and toddlers.

Apparently John McCain picked Palin knowing there would be a fairly great chance that this would come out. I bet, the more the media bleets, and the more the obamabots screech, the more the rest of America will be turned off. Especially those that think it's not public business.

See, you get these gleeful emotional attacks that frankly are driven by a hatred of Bush, but that manifest themselves in the public humiliation of a 17-year old girl who screwed up. Now, for the people who are gleeful, well, it's not like this was the tie breaker in who they will vote for. They could come in and find Obama sodomizing their dog and find ways to brush it off or excuse it just like many Bush supporters could for many years. But, I can imagine for those more moderate the tone of the upcoming campaign months might switch a few for McCain (in addition to energizing the base) or just make them stay home on election day. Particularly the Hillery set. And particularly if the media gets desperate if the numbers really start to swing.

I would ask you this, Charon; How many voters' might think of Sarah Palin after letting her own daughter being used for a simple election strategy? What would that say about her character? Is it that she was that stupid to let it happen? Or is she so calous and cold, that her daughters' well being comes in second place to political aspiration? And that could also carry over to McCain...especially if it hits the press that this was part of McCains' planning.
