Woohooo... lets elect somebody who doesn't have a clue... yeah boy howdy that'll be good. She's just a regular gal like aunt marveen over to the trailer park. She can shoot too. Sure don't want none of those darned ivory tower leftist educated types. Certainly don't need no "elitists" with all that book learning and such.

No, lets just elect some pretty face who hasnt done jack, lead jack or seen jack.Lets do it because its the feel good thing to do and it'll make history.

Hilary could do the job, COlin Powel if he was crazy enough would get my vote in heart beat. I'm going to vote for some biotch and his wifey poo who ranted about "whities"? Who's pastor of 20+ yrs (?) spouted off some hardcore hate stuff and who seemly has ties to at least one radical "ex terrorist" now tenered professor???? !!!!!

Check his voting record..... what major reform, bills etc has he introduced? What has he done? All i hear is a bunch of "change" this "change" that!!!

He's just as much of a tool as GWB (and yea i voted for the idiot twice), Rush, and others.

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

you read too many right wing posts
There are actually sites out there that go over each candidates records and what they have actually been doing...
For instance - in the Senate Obama sponsored 4 bills - in his limited time there .... oh and for 22 years so has McCain....
But a fair and honest assessment would also show that while he was only able to get his name on that few - he did attempt quite a bit more...but he was not all that well liked by the republicans in the senate and congress... so he couldn't get them passed.....
luckily, now that they have to listen to him... he could get something done... but alas too late.... he is too busy now....
This is a crazy election.. all the loons are flying in circles around the pond

yep elfie.. the liberal socialist machine is huge and it is young and energetic and it is mean as all hell..

It is full of entertainers and talking heads and teachers and people that.. on a day to day basis.. we put up with cause.. well.. we mind our own business but..

They are young and/or out of touch with reality and real peoples lives and.. so long as things are going their way... entertaining and genial...

When things aren't going their way.. the real face comes out..the hacker and the idiot entertainer babbling on about crap he has no clue.. the mean spirited vitriol of the young mush heads like crock-it..

The talking heads.. used to having no one protest their bias..  ramp up their BS to the point that Mr and Mrs.. (not ms) get more than annoyed.. they get offended. then they get mad.. and then they teach the aholes a lesson.

Thank you crock-it for being such an obvious and obnoxious tool and steering real voters to the polls.

She's pretty habitual on half truths. But to each their own, I find it entertaining.
I guess if you were saying that she is just like every other politican in government I might concede the argument but I dont think thats what your saying.

So by your logic, if someone hacks into your bank account when you are not aware, can we blame you for being stupid and not being there to protect it?

She is a state Governor and by law is supposed to use official e-mail accounts that are secure. It's her fault that she used the most vulnerable free e-mail account on the net. Yahoo is one of the worst for getting hacked. She was provided with a office and safe account to use, she choose to conduct state business on a non-secure e-mail account that just shows she was trying to hide the e-mails and willingly broke the law or is just out right stupid. Take your pick..

straws man... the liberals are grasping for straws.

I do believe they will manufacture some sort of lie before the election that will in some way smear Palin and possibly tip the election to the democrats.

The problem with that is going to come when it is found out and proved to be a lie, the poo is going to hit the fan with the common man possibly rising up and kicking the poo out of both the parties.

what lie does anyone need.. this woman is a train wreck if you look at the facts with out the rosy colored republican sunglasses.

He was elected to the Illinois state senate as a state legislature in 1997 and served there until he ran for US senate.

Try to educate yourself somewhere besides the O'Reilly show..

"Obama was elected to the Illinois Senate in 1996, succeeding State Senator Alice Palmer as Senator from the Illinois' 13th District, which then spanned Chicago South Side neighborhoods from Hyde Park-Kenwood south to South Shore and west to Chicago Lawn.[28] Once elected, Obama gained bipartisan support for legislation reforming ethics and health care laws.[29] He sponsored a law increasing tax credits for low-income workers, negotiated welfare reform, and promoted increased subsidies for childcare.[30] In 2001, as co-chairman of the bipartisan Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, Obama supported Republican Governor Ryan's payday loan regulations and predatory mortgage lending regulations aimed at averting home foreclosures.[31]

Obama was reelected to the Illinois Senate in 1998, and again in 2002.[32] In 2000, he lost a Democratic primary run for the U.S. House of Representatives to four-term incumbent Bobby Rush by a margin of two to one.[33][34]

In January 2003, Obama became chairman of the Illinois Senate's Health and Human Services Committee when Democrats, after a decade in the minority, regained a majority.[35] He sponsored and led unanimous, bipartisan passage of legislation to monitor racial profiling by requiring police to record the race of drivers they detained and legislation making Illinois the first state to mandate videotaping of homicide interrogations.[30][36] During his 2004 general election campaign for U.S. Senate, police representatives credited Obama for his active engagement with police organizations in enacting death penalty reforms.[37] Obama resigned from the Illinois Senate in November 2004 following his election to the US Senate.[38]

Not a flame post - just an observation and my take on the concerns

The age of McCain
The reality is - if you look at all the past presidents, how they look on the first day in office..and what they look like after 4 years... every one of them has aged considerably... it is a highly stressful job - imagine realizing you are responsible for all of us ijots --
The reality is: - it is very apparent that the likelihood is - Palin will be the president within the next 4 years, If you are ignoring that fact, well that is your prerogative... but I look at McCain and say - he will have a tuff time of it physically, it is way more stressful of a job than senator..we are electing between 3 presidential position choices..

Sure, I agree completely that presidents age considerably while in office, the stress is enormous. McCain is what? 72 now? As long as he has no health concerns atm, I don't see a problem. Granted he is old, but I'm not going to hold that against him. :)

my dad is 80..  I would bet the farm that not one of the liberal metrosexuals on this board.. or osamabinbiden could last a whole day plastering a house of pouring and finishing concrete with him.   My guess is that 90% would be blubbering before noon.
