I honestly like World at War, just pissed because one, it didn't have really any story, two, from what I do know, the battle fields weren't anywhere near accurate. In MoH: PA, the Tarawa and Guadalcanal battlefields were as accurate as I ever remembered them from pictures.

BUT, then again, World at War was made by the same guys who made Call of Duty, Big Red One. (Bust as well, online play for CODWaW is supposed to be better than modern warfare though)

I always got 1 shot kills with the bolt actions. I'm also kind of mad that the 30-06 on the M1 Garand didn't do almost anything, you'd have to shoot them 10 times before you'd kill them. And the Japanese Arisaka was owning the 30-06 and it was a 25 caliber rifle IIRC.

8.  Baldur's Gate...A friend of mine and I almost finished that game on characters that were all level 1.  We never realised that when it siad "Level Up" that we had to actually do it, it wasn't automatic.  The stategies we had to employ to win some battles were amazing.

ROFL!  My friend and I beat that game a couple times, it's great fun.  I can't imagine how could have possibly gotten very far at level 1, major kudos to you...but again... LOL! :lol

In no particular order:

Day of Defeat (3.1b was probably the best balanced play)
Mario Kart
PTO II (Pacific Theater of Operations)
Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Red Alert
Company of Heroes

There's quite a few more but I'm having a memory block atm.

In game callsign: not currently flying
Flying off and on since Warbirds
Aces High Movies available at www.derstuhl.net/ahmd2 - no longer aceshighmovies.com - not updated either

aces high didn't make your list?  :O

tisk tisk

I never get to play the game.  Hard for me to enjoy it when I get nailed with a million questions and complaints every time I go online.  I could use a shade, but then be relegated to saying nothing in comms and that just wrecks it for me.

I wish I could enjoy it.  I envy all the players who do get to have fun playing it.

I have often thought it would be cool to have an HTC Staff day, where all of us got online to play and just play.  No questions, no complaints.  Just be like any other player in the game.

Dunno if that would be a possible solution for that problem..but maybe there's a small, long established squad with very thrustworthy members out there (it'S said there are a few left of that kind) that you could join. For the rest of the arena you're just another silent shade, but you could use comms on squadchannel, enjoing all the things this game can give you...

(BTW I'm flying silent for 3 years now, only using mic occasionally for TA work. :))

That's unfortunate, Skuzzy.  Always thought AH staff would be having a ball playing the game however they liked in whatever circumstances.

But then I guess it is like being too responsible for too much.  Maybe the difference between work (however fulfilling) and pleasure (simply enjoying with no responsibility for the overall activity).
