Can you still flip vehicles over with the Ju87's landing gear? Used to love flying down the road and flipping Brit trucks over with my gear.
ack-ack
No, that bug was fixed years ago.
I'm a part-timer in the Allied High Command and the AO's have really improved the game tons in my perspective. Yes, when they were released it was a pissing match because nobody really knew how to work with them and the ruleset for the AO's was still in its infancy.
Today however, the map usually has SEVEN AO's active on each side so you can find lots of action up and down the line. Brigades and Division movement and attack rules as well as supply have been tuned so that it is impossible to have people using endless supply of units until one side tires of it and logs off.
But, above all, the best changes will be coming very soon when the divisions finally get their specialized brigades...infantry and armor brigades, artillery brigades, etc.
The game is not perfect but its very fun. I do not play AH that much because I find WW2OL to have a goal to aim for as a team...because it has TWO sides rather than a furball butterball gangbang arena... and because WW2OL offers a lot more replay value than AH when it comes to the amount of units, terrain and things to do.
AH rules over WW2OL in the air sim portion no doubt whatsoever. But on the ground and dare I say, overall air fun.. ww2ol beats it. There's just no comparison to bringing in a jabo to kill a couple of pesky tanks on an AH airfield ... compared to receiving a call of 'Axis armor column advancing on (town) 3 kliks out we need air support!!' from the ground forces.. flying your bomber in and seeing nearly 50 tanks rolling into a town .. and having human controlled triple-A swarming up from the ground at you... all the while you know there are about 100+ infantry players down there fighting it out that you cant see because you're not flying low enough.
