how so?  a rogue roughing the passer to give pit a first down and an fumble to end the game that should've been an incomplete pass to end the game?
You need to huddle up with the Seahawks fans.  :( :cry

The NFL needs to take a long, hard look at their referees for next season.

Indeed.

I know it's hard on the field to call stuff, but god forbid you let the most noticeable stuff slip by.

How the HELL do they not go review the "fumble" on the last Arizona play of the game?  It looked very close to a forward pass to me, way close enough to review it.  I'm not a fan of either team, but Arizona should have had that play reviewed, and possibly another hail mary chance, and if so, it would have been 15 yards closer due to Pittsburgh's excessive celebration penalty, so around a 30 yard play, very makable.

Arizona got screwed hard by the refs in that game.  And won two challenges... it almost looked like the refs got paid by someone other than the NFL.

QFT.

I think they were very bias that game. The only mercy they had were the two challenge wins.

Given how close the game was it's easy to point at any one thing as to why they lost.  Some may blame it on the refs, but IMO you can't expect to win a game when you only show up to play in the fourth quarter.  The fourth quarter showed why the Cards deserved to be there, but the Steelers final drive proves why they are the better team.

Wonder how much the steelers paid the officiating team. I did not watch it but my wife said the men in stripes did a terrible job.

She, like most in the US, did not care who won.

Steelers get a BS holding call giving the Cards a safety which keeps the Cards in the game and they still have people accusing them of paying off the refs.  That holding call was very subjective, if anyone was paying off the refs it was the Cards...

Guys, Warner had NO control of that ball when his hand started moving forward.  The Steeler helmet knocked it loose.

Unless Kurt's developed an entirely new method of passing that involved the ball being chucked as it's laying lengthways down your arm.

(Image removed from quote.)

How about one of the steelers prety much beating a man already down. He kept at it and should have been thrown out. But like many games now it is not quality of play it is just about the money.

as an objective viewer, being that I'm a fan of neither team, the cards got screwed all night on calls, you're way off, as far as the refereeing went, that was all in favor of the steelers

john madden even seemed to disagree with the refs a few times

either way, cards should have gotten the ball to larry fitzgerald alot more, I know I know, he was double covered the whole game, but the 3 or so times they passed to him that didn't really seem to matter since he is a recieving god.

You might be right, but we'll never know because they didn't review it.  It was a clear cut case of something that should have been reviewed.  That's all I would have wanted.  In my mind, I'm always going to asterisk this Steelers win, so the bad officiating isn't only hurting the Cards, it hurts the Steelers too.  There was absolutely NO excuse to not review that play under the hood.  The NFL refs failed us.

Actually, as I understand it, the call came down from the booth.  That tells me that they saw pretty much the same thing I saw, and said "go ahead, no point in reviewing".  Rather then waste time on yet *another* reviewed play for a rather obvious call, they went ahead with the game.
