Today, we salute you...
« on: April 15, 2009, 09:56:05 PM »
... Mr. Don't Pick Me in 1v1 Guy.

"Mr. Don't Pick Me in One V Onnnnnnne Guy!"

Your chivalrous, gentleman standards just aren't appreciated in blood thirsty combat.
When your teammate calls for help, you say...suck it up man.

"Don't be soooo cheaaaappppp!"

Never mind that you're in a game with dozens of other people.
Other people play to win. You play...for personal domination.

"Pat yourseeeeelf on the baaaaaack!"

So when you whine on 200 and people don't agree with you, that's okay.
They don't know what it means to be a duelist with morals.

"Mr. Don't Pick Me in One V Onnnnnneeee Guuuuyyyyy!"

and we also salute....

Mr. timid scoreweenie cherry picker.

You're on top of the world, and the furball, in your L-Ghey-7.  Picking oblivious n00bz and others already engaged.  And if someone tries to get co-alt with you that's ok.

Time to rope, rope, rope.

No one can touch your 15k Chog, but just in case a gigantic alt avantage and 4x20mm aren't enough and you find yourself about to get PWND you've saved your WEP.

Better run, run, run.

And if you vulch the wrong guy landing deadstick and he comes back with a fresh load of taters just for you that's ok too, because your CV is just right over there.

Save me ack, ack, ack.

And so even though you couldn't fight your way out of a wet paper bag we salute your vulching prowess, and intimidating K/D ratio....

But the Run Run Run link didn't work for me...  Might be a busted link, or perhaps my computer is a tard...

EDIT TO ASK:  Is that a commonly used view in the 109?  Using the left side of the windscreen frame as an aiming point?  Or is that a weird film viewer view screwiness thing?

Guess I'm not sure what you mean.  Sometimes when you load a film the film viewer likes to freeze the view at some weird angle.  Just click the "use recorded views" box, then just hit a button on your keypad to unfreeze it.

I watched with internal views and using recorded views...  Plays fine...  But to me looks like you are always looking down the left side of the aircrafts nose, aiming at the junction of two pieces of the canopy framework...  But sometimes as you are looking around, good SA, I get views of the pilot from the tip of the wing...  Should be impossible...  Was wondering if this is a weird Track IR thing, or a flaw in the film viewer perhaps...  Mostly I was asking if you really fly with the left of the nose view as your default, aiming at the joint in canopy parts...

Must be a film viewer thing, I just use the normal straight ahead view paged up what little bit it lets you.

Stop the film, restart it at regular speed, switch to one of the outside views, then click on default view again.

Grumble...  I hate that...  Films are a really good resource for folks trying to learn...  But, apparently, they can't really be relied upon for good info...
