Yup ... goes to show you that no matter what HTC does ... it's not good enough and they could never please everyone.

"community" ain't a single entity. Some like the arena split, some hate it. Some like TT, some hate it.

If DMBEARs stating of his opinion on arena caps bothers you so much why come into a thread called "bottle the caps"? If you cant figure out
what hes going to be talking about in the thread your clueless.

But instead of going oh "this thread is a complaint on the arena caps I am just going to skim over it". you say "how can i be a total dbag today"? "oh I know lets go bust someones balls for posting one thread among thousands of threads!"

Flying as a Knit last night was no fun.  In the one arena we were getting swarmed on all sides by hoards, and in the other we were the hoard swarming everybody.

Booooring.

I was wondering then how difficult it would be for HiTech to Coad it so the side getting hit by ENY will show an arena as FULL, whereas the side w/o ENY would show the arena as OPEN?


Using the screenshots given...

ORANGE

If you are Bish or Rook ORANGE would be FULL but BLUE would be OPEN.



BLUE

If you are Knit BLUE would be FULL but ORANGE would be OPEN.



Maybe this kicks in when ENY hit's a certain amount.

This way when new people log on to AH they go to the arena where they are the lowest #'s and balance it out.

I vaguely remember we had something like that a few years ago as a test run, shortly after the great split. The waiting queue - You could wait for a spot to open or switch to outnumbered side and enter arena... *sratchhead*
