Diamond S9250 Video card (ATI)
« on: July 28, 2009, 04:00:19 PM »
I need suggestions for a driver that works with AH2. I had some issues before the patch now the game is nearly unplayable.

It will remain unplayable no matter what driver you use..  That video card isn't anything close to what you need to run the game with any kind of
playability as it was probably the bare minimum to run the last version...

If you are having performance issues with the game, try the following:

1)  In the game's "Video Settings" change the "Maximum Texture Size" to 256, or less.
2)  Check the video resolution and see if it is too high.
3)  In the game itself, under Options->Graphic Details->Advanced, uncheck options there until the frame rate is back to acceptable levels.

:O Now that is one low slow video card. I would be surprised if you can get that card to do much better even with what Skuzzy recommends.

Core Clock : 240MHz
Memory Clock :  200MHz
Memory Size : 256MB
Memory Interface :  64 bit/128 bit
BUS :  PCI

You probably don't have an AGP or PCIe slot so I do hope you can get it to work...a good replacement won't be easy.
