They'll invest.  Money talks, bullcrap walks.  Basically, if the product is bringing in money and customers, the investor will gladly fork over his money despite the owner being rude to customers.

I think quite a few are hung up on the false notion that the "customer is always right."

Funny...I have a 5 year old eMachine M6805 laptop loaded with integrated video and a 1.6 Mhz chipset. As I was hoping to use this rig for the upcoming AH Con, I loaded the game 2 days ago (Patch 6). With everything max'd out I was getting mid 20's frame rate. Turning the detailed terrain/water off jumped the frame rate to mid 50's and the game was very playable. So much for the "elite few".

   I was having white airplanes and land just at start up but after todays patch this has not been a problem.

My box (desktop) is not a pimped out rig, it however seems to work just fine. I do not use it for anything other than AH and i have followed all the hints, tips and suggestions that skuzy has offered in the tech support boards.

I can see this isnt going anywhere. Your tone sounds a little angry impatient even derogatory (well to me anyway) and I am sorry you feel that way. I dont see that you have any reason to.

My opinion is just my opinion. I thought this know your place attitude was more associated with we British than you Americans. Anyway you spend the time to respond which is surprising since you seem quite annoyed by what I have said.  My view is the vast majority of what is said is in favour of what you are providing and how you are manageing it.

No Im dead on.  The update information is in the readme file and the game is having serious issues now.  And oh, it took 2 minutes and 27 sec for someone to come along and prove my last point.  If we speak down about the game on here then we're wrong.  This is America, I'm free to speak my mind......

I'm not sure if it's a reflection on today's customers or on today's businesses. I mean, I'm not having any problems. My Mac runs all this crap via bootcamp flawlessly. My frame rate is a pulse-like 73-75. I love the product. My only beef with HTC is how painfully slow the growth process is. Would that some 2nd or 3rd stage VC came in and fueled a rapid tranche of growth...

If you dont like the way things are ran here, there is an option for you to kick rocks.
This is a business and a business must be ran in a way that will keep its self open.
If HTC was to give us what we wanted, there would be no HTC.
