Downloading it now , 7 patrs at 1.8 gig a part ......i might die before i get it all .......
Is it worth the wait ?

The single player campaign is very much worth the wait.  It is honestly one of the best games released in a long time and really doesn't pull any punches in single player.  I do wish though they'd give your the option to disable the two warning prior to the Russian airport level, kind of pulls you out of the game and lessens the immersion.

That's the way, Ack-Ack, it's the classic infantry tactic to shoot-and-move in order to kill the enemy while offering only a moving target in return.

Hoho, prefer the ol'-fashioned Napoleonic Era table-top wargaming meself. And AH of course, when I can afford it.

Since when is this news. As for ack-acks tactic, its actually a good idea. I always ask for a buddy to cover me with his sniper rifle when I base camp. We have contests to see whos tactic works better.

It's not may tactic, I took it from an old army field manual I had on advanced infantry tactics.

I got it at about 12 noon the day it came out and had the campaign beat by 7 p.m.

Hmmmm, not a bad idea. Does a lot of that stuff work in games? My dad has some stuff like that in the basment.

Reminds me of Force Unleashed. Total time it took me to beat it was something like 4 hours.

It's like reading books on ACM for this game, it doesn't hurt to know some tactics.

Mine asked me at the very beginning if i wanted to "skip a level that may be offensive" before i even started the campaign.

Ya, but guns are soooo overrated! Going to run out of ammo sooner or later, takes a few shots to kill, loud? While a knife has unlimited ammo, 1 hit killer, silent death!  :D What's more fun that chasing down 4-5 guys and taking them out 1 at a time silently, like a ninja!  :x :D
