What separates BFBC2 from the COD series is the fact that you don't necessary need to have twitch reflexes in order to feel like you've achieve something in a round. BFBC2 rewards team play like no other in the genre, support your buddies an you can reap the rewards also.

The feeling of steamrolling around the map with a great squad is awesome. :D

I had Battlefield 2 for the PS2, it was really fun... is this the same franchise?

Sounds so fun, I feel like calling BestBuy and telling them to get my order to my house tomorrow or else. :)  Do you play on weekends? I'd enjoy catching a few rounds with you and learning the game. Weapon wise, is it like BF2, or can you customize your slots a bit? I like the customizable stuff, but I'm fine with stuff like "Assult, Gunner, Anti Tank".

Believe so.

Just checked out a YT video and it seems there  is no weapon customization or Slots where you can choose your own things...kind of sucks, oh well.

I got a question is this a squad based mission game or is it a shoot em up game. If it is a shoot em up game what is the point of having squads. Also wouldn't everybody just get in a tank. I was really excited about getting the game but now I am trying to figure out if you can actually do co-op missions, which is what I like doing.

There are indeed 3 slots for specialization, two for your person and one for vehicles. There's also a choice of different gadgets for some classes, for example, the Recon class can equip C4 or a laser designator to paint targets for mortar strikes.
It's not as customisable as COD, but it's more realistic.

It's a cross between both. You go around the map with your squad, take objectives while killing other players at the same time.

Tanks are very fragile when not used correctly, a single person can take one out with a couple of nice RPG hits or a single mortar strike. That's if the tank doesn't have an engineer backing him up.

Yes.

BF2 on PS2 was a joke btw, if you liked that game you'll love BC2.

Awesome, I absolutely hated the guys that thought they were "uber" with their Red Tiger skinned guns.

Bit the bullet and downloaded it yesterday afternoon, have to say that is one fun little game. Spent most of yesterday playing through the SP game which was a pleasant surprise before hoping on a MP server last night for about an hour.  Once I was able to start visually sorting through all the things I was seeing on screen I started enjoying myself quite a bit despite being really, really bad. :)
