OK I'll play too.  These are the toys in the house at present.  There used to be a couple more AKs.  My oldest son was a real AK fanatic and historian.  I had an M1 Carbine at one point and then an M1A but sold both of those.  I like KISS AR15s so both the ARs are A1 uppers, one a Bushmaster and the other a DPMS.  DPMS is local in Minnesota and some good folks to deal with.

The AKs were my sons and are a PKMS underfolder built on a Polish kit, and a Krebs Custom AK-74.   I've got my son's Springfield Milspec 1911 as well and a couple more PKMS kits waiting to be built someday.

Larry, how's that hi-Point? I was looking into them a while back, and still am... I hear it is a real "usable" gun, shooting easy, and you can put a boatload of rounds through it.

I just got it a few days ago so Iv only put about 80 rounds through it. Its real easy to shoot and once I got mine sighted in it was shooting very tight groups from 20ft. This was my first hand gun so I wanted to buy something cheap. If its not to cold tomorrow Ill go shoot a few rounds and post the target.

Just to rub salt in the wound, iirc as a non US citizen you will not be allowed to own firearms :D

Bwahahahah <points and laughs at aussies>
Its not true.  I disagree with that but as long as you legal resident of USA you allowed to purchase/own firearms, citizenship is not required.

Nice Rifles everyone! Guppy, VonKost.

I know I said I would get some pics, but I've been busy. I have Friday Off and I promise I will get some Pics.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

This was a classy looking Italian made 92FS Inox that I sold off.  Looking at it again makes me wish I still had it.

Lots of really neat firearms.  I assume most if not all of you have some ammunition for these.  Do you order them online or go to a hardware store or what?  If online, where?  I would like to order some as I live over 65 miles from closest walmart or equivalent.

Agreed.  I kinda get a kick out of the guys who get so carried away with their AR's in their effort to 'go tactical' in case the SHTF.  Seems like the idea with the AR was to keep it light.  By the time some guys get done, the thing has to weigh a ton, and frankly I just don't see a point where I'm going to need a fake grenade launcher, flashlight, laser site and waffle iron when I shoot.  But to each his own I guess :)

Google "Ammo man". Cheaper Than Dirt has a good selection and prices are ok I guess. Grab a copy of the Shotgun News, they have quite a bit of ads for ammo.

I have a few shotguns that I inherited after my dad, mostly 12 gauge. I don't have any pics or the names of most of them. But there is a Russian double barrel over/under, one pump which I believe is a Remington. And one Marlin Firearms Shotgun model 5510 Original Super Goose in a 10 Gauge.
One of the other shotguns is an old gem from some time in the late 1800's.
And there is one Remington 66 saloon rifle, and one Mauser rifle from the 40's or thereabout..
Oh yes, and the ammo for the 10 gauge goose gun is Magnum, which I think is pretty cool. They are quite large compared to a standard 12 gauge patron..

I don't use any of them now, but I used to carry the Russian double barrel when my dad was alive and we went hunting together.

I just like to keep them for the memories of my dad.  :salute

Dan, you can always use a waffle iron!

Just make sure you keep syrup in the vertical grip. :)
