Thats true they do have the excuse of being young if they stick at it they will realise theres always someone better than you and that believing your the best and can 'pwn' anyone is a fleeting self delusion that only hurts when someone better lays the hurt on you.
On the other hand the muppets lost a lot of their direction once skyrock left and slipped from the good fight, as a result they lost a lot of respect for not upholding the values he set. Not only that but it served I feel as a good example for the rest of the community in good sportsmanship and gameplay.
I guess things move on and times change, I could count on one hand who would still want 'the honorable fight or nothing' and fly like they talk in the muppets, and your still one of them Scotch
No squad remains the same. LOL can't believe I'm going to jump in for the Muppets here, but I think it's safe to say that the direction has always been there for them, and it's Kappa. He's not the most vocal, or visible, but I think it' safe to say the Muppets is his squad. Even when he was with the 475th, he still was carrying Muppet in his sig.
Skyrock was very visible, Grizz is visible now, there have been others. I think it's safe to say that Kappa holds it together. Have the names changed? To some degree. Some good sticks have come and gone from the Muppets, and some good sticks have replaced them. Do I always agree with how they operate? Nah, it's not my style, but I enjoy the fights, and any verbal sparring is purely in fun as I've flown with and against most if not all of them for a long time.
No squad stays the way it was. Invariably the new guys are left to carry on whatever that squad's reputation may be. Some do it better then others. Most realize that the respect they get in the arenas isn't from the squad tag they wear but from how they handle themselves. They reflect on the squad, the squad name doesn't automatically give them credibility.
In the end I think the Muppets are just fine, and Kappa will make sure of it.
