Sorry, this is not a troll. Respectfully, not being able to grasp what I am saying shows a lack of cognitive ability on your part. It does not take much imagination to consider how much HTC may have lost from the off-hours arena debacle. If non-US players are 2% of the subscribership, it does not take many people in that other 98% to be irritated and cancel their subscription and therefore negate any extra revenue that the off-hours arena created. Which, by the way, probably wasn’t very much extra revenue because after all, the non-US players were playing at the time of the implementation of the off-hours arena and I doubt many non-US people magically signed up because of it. Therefore, as you should be able to grasp, catering to a minority of players is not a good business decision at all.
Your suggestion that our disagreeing with your post was based on emotion ('selfishness' and 'whining' were thrown out randomly as bait on your hook
) rather than because of the obvious reason, that it was a moronic post, is what I would call a troll
HTC's servers are generally running 24 hours a day, presumably at some kind of cost to them. Why in the world would they
not cater to the players who want to
pay them to use those servers, at times when most of the core playerbase are asleep or at work and not using them? I sure hope you don't run a business
edit: I will happily concede that things would be very different if the transatlantic AH flyers were much smaller in number...it really would be pointless to cater to such a tiny minority. But that's not the case (yet!)
And laggy European connections spoiling the gameplay for others? Either pure stupidity, or pure troll.
