Mission Editor-Base Altitude
« on: July 09, 2011, 12:21:41 PM »
Wish we could have two options for our altitude setting.

Options:
1. [Destination Altitude]  (we currently have.)
2. [Base Altitude]   (we should have IMO.)

So say I want to have a furball meet at 10k.  Well that's all good so far.  Problem is, as soon as the
planes begin their engagement, it's right to the deck with them all. Sometimes even below deck.   :(
Setting #2 would stop this madness.  Example: The destination altitude could be set to 10k, then set the
base altitude to around 5k or so.  The planes would treat the base altitude setting as ground level, and
attempt to stay above the 5k setting.
I'm just using these numbers as an example.  We could set our destination altitudes up to 20k+ and have the
base altitude set to anything.
With this wish implied gentlemen/ladies, we'd be able to have some truly high-alt dogfights happen within the offline
missions, and keep those planes from -AGL.

That is all.

I like proxy kills in Offline, seems like a more authentic MA experience
