Necroposting this topic is probably better than posting a new one since we  have quite a few new pilots as well as old pilots who have gotten new cars.

My current fleet..........minus one car.

Just sold off the silver M30......really sad because that one was supposed to either get the inline six turbodiesel (Nissan) or a twin turbo V8 (vh45de) but I moved to a place that won't tolerate me owning 4 cars and storage fees are intense.

I parted out the turbodiesel for twice what I paid for it and still have a few hundered worth of stuff to sell from it.

Still have the white one which is very much like a left hand drive version of the R31 skyline or Nissan leopard but I have an old school L28et (inline six replacing the V6) with lots of boost in it.

The icepacalypse cruiser complete with curb jumping ability courtesy of 255s on "truck rally wheels in steel"  front and back and only 1/2 inch clearance from the rear fender lips.......... but it has never rubbed yet even when drifting it across train tracks at high speed but I did to remove about 3/16 of an inch to each lip just for insurance. (not a fan of rolling fender lips and having the paint crack)

Grip is improved greatly while still being able to enjoy the "caddy smooth ride" unlike the harsh ride you get with the "impala SS wheels" with 1 inch sidewalls.

Wheels are like this one below with the chevy truck center cap and trim rings but will be painted super dark blue like the car.

Final car is the one I hate working on so much that it affects my driving enjoyment because throwing big boost to it and driving it hard will surely end up costing me in output shafts and center differential parts.

I enjoy it now that I removed the fragile "active" front spoiler and got the factory active exhaust working............(push button....car gets loud....push again....car gets quiet).

I did leave the rear spoiler "active" and it's fun to move it up and down in traffic to get reactions.

It's being sent up to Atlanta in a couple of weeks.

icepac,

If you ever decide to sell the Caprice, my landlord owns two and drives them on a daily basis. One of his wagons has a vet engine installed.

Hah Ink, I was getting ready to type out that you were off your meds, until I saw your explanation at the end of the post.

I had a 95 Stealth R/T Turbo, the 3000GT was very difficult to get in Canada back then, you pretty much had to import it yourself, a much tougher process than it is now, mainly due to all the right hand drive JDM cars running around up here now.

That is a nice looking 3000GT, I am in the camp that hates blacked out wheels, but those do look fantastic on there.  It's such a neat vehicle, for it's day it was loaded with tech, and even though it was a pretty heavy for a sports car, it really used its 300 HP and torque well.  All wheel drive, four wheel steering, intelligent twin turbocharger design, plus the car was actually very comfortable for long highway trips I found, and very surefooted when the roads become wet in the rain.  I had a gremlin in mine, they were famous for strange happenings, and mine was that the fuze for the ABS system would just pop, and no matter what they did to trouble shoot it, they never did figure out why, as it would throw no codes on the box, and lengthy expensive investigations by hand offered no results.

I'll put up a pic of it if I can dig one out, it was long before the time of digital cameras.

There's quite a few Audis with the Quattro label out there. Which one exactly did you drive?

Something that i'd love to get is a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG or an SLR 722 that has been completely blacked out.

Too bad I don't have $400,000 to just throw around.
