Why I still want to HO

I was flying looking for a fight, few cons in the air.  Then I see a red dot....  a P38 comes straight at me and at 1.5k starts firing (could it be AKAK?  :huh )... I avoid the attempted HO, turn around and chase in my Spit16.  Can't catch him, he goes after our radar, VH, whatever... I had a chance to stop him with a HO.  Instead was hoping he would turn or E fight.  He didn't.  If I had HOed, he would have been highly likely stopped.  Huh, 2Dizzy?

Needless to say, a pony came next.  Same thing.  But this time, I HOed back.  Pony done for.  Huh, McLovin? :D

When a faster aeroplane than yours comes straight at you, there is a good chance they just go for a HO shot and keep going to do damage to your base.

They must be stopped and a HO is an excellent choice in this situation (which presents itself often). :old:

Did you consult your FPHs for council on this matter? What does Bruv119 say regarding this issue?

Have not.  Am attempting to decision this on my own.   We shall see. :pray  hopefully he/they will weigh in on the matter.

If you get yourself in a position where it is even possible to be HO'd you screwed up. Midway would be in the right to HO here pretty much, given the position of the other planes.

Co alt, co e flying a spit, it is probably in your best interest to turn fight the enemy. Less risk. But a high flying American bird with e comes in head first without maneuvering to avoid a possible HO, I'd probably trust my 20s to hit him where it hurts, rather than avoid it, and have him either continue, or BNZ me over and over, reducing my SA towards other parts of the sky.

But I do.  I see my mission as needing to stop his/hers.  They are the enemy and my country buds might want to use our base for a mission.
