     Going back trough the memory banks, I believe they had bought a license to manufacture them from Douglas, believe it was called
the Tabby in Japanese colors.  DC-2s and 3s were very popular worldwide pre-war.

Someone using an escort carrier to transfer planes to a base too far out to fly them in.  Which, when you think of it, is pretty

Nobody reads (facepalm). Was only requesting pby be added and I found this sweet pic to share with u all. I never would ask for PBYs to be carrier planes or even spawn near by. As for the Brewster: thanks ak ak for enlightening us on the context of the photo.

True but I don't believe our water is coded to allow for seaplanes...because of this extra work, I wouldn't mind getting planes like the pby and just have them be landbase

I would like to supply CV's with seaplanes.  I would like to drop troops with the seaplane.  I would like to rescue pilots at the primary, secondary or tertiary LZ's with seaplanes...these should be bonus points.

I have no idea why so many people 1) think the 180mph PBY would be awesome and 2) equate it to an aquatic Storch.
