If that is your definition of skill then you play right into the other side of the argument.
You can defeat opponents with one set of skills in this game....BnZ. But that doesn't not make one a skillful player. If you think about it Bat, this game truly requires 5 tools to be called a skillful player:
1. SA
2. Aerial Gunnery
3. Angles Fighting
4. E fighting
5. The ability to move fluidly between Angles and E ACM
By your definition, a skillful player can employ only 2 of these skills and defeat his opponent no matter what they are flying. Lots and lots of players are three tool players but they are not skillful....the truly skillful that you and the rest of community recognize have 4 to 5 skills. Poll it if you like, but its the truth.
I disagree. What you are saying is that one must use a more complex fighting method than is required just to prove 'skill'.
That is similar to using five knots to tie something when only two knots are required for an adequate job.
If your opponent is so simple to defeat that only two of your skills list are required then it is nothing but chauvinism to employ all five skills. Doing this says ' Hey look at all the skills I know about! Am I not skillful?'
Why use more than is required to get the job done? Only use what skills are required and then when on a rare occasion all five skills are required in one fight your 'skill' can be shown to the world for a valid reason.
