Here's a picture of my son. He was a 14 Kilo or POG Tanker. Two tours in Iraq. He earned a purple heart both tours. First tour a shoulder wound. What happened to him in the second tour is obvious in the photo. You don't need a Globe an Anchor or a Tab to fight and bleed.

So many experts, so few clues.
I assume you still fail to see who is in the wrong here?  Jeez glad you are not in his jury if there will be one..

I know you understand that isn't where I was going with that.

I was just giving Junky a hard time.

I still think he looks more handsome in the wedding pics  :aok

I wan't aiming at you VM. Yes you're correct he's way better looking than his old man. Plus I've never made it any secret, if anybody is a POG its me.  ;)

Oh, of course, you are correct.  You obviously see through the soda straw better than the rest of us.

Bad luck for sure. My Pog poke was just that, a poke...troll whatever you want to call it. I respect anyone who serves, vet or not. But more Pogs are found to be the guys with the fake valor stories.

Glad your sons doing good, my unit lost a Soldier who was an amputee early on in deployment just recently after being back for 6 months.

I'm sorry to hear that, may he RIP. Inter service rivalry has a long and glorious history. Its fun and its to be enjoyed. Most Americans are proud of each and every one of you guys. Uniforms and emblems don't keep the wolves away from the door. The warrior does. Luckily for us in America we have many types of warriors. Some more specialized and better trained in certain areas. However every one of you guys are a warrior. It doesn't matter if standing guard at a FOB, patrolling on foot or in a Humvee, kicking in the door of a known enemy lair, making a gun or bomb run in an A-10 or F-16, or flying your Blackhawk med evac in to an area to extract a wounded comrade. Even the guys that go through hostile areas to deliver the supplies needed by those who normally do the fighting. All you guys are all warriors. All of you deserve respect.  :aok

By the way I get it too. I'm a 16 year Air Force Vet. My two oldest sons joined the Army and both went to Iraq. When they came home for the longest time I assumed POG was an Iraqi word for father. ;)
